- Jörg ist seit seiner Jugend musikalisch. Nun möchte er einem großen Publikum zeigen was er kann. Mit dem Klassiker "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" von Meat Loaf schafft er mit den ersten Tönen Gänsehaut und zeigt allen, was in ihm steckt. Die Coaches sind begeistert - hoffentlich vergessen sie nicht zu buzzern!

Wie Fans der bisherigen Casting-Shows im "The Voice-Stil" es gewohnt sind, startet auch die Ausgabe für die Senioren zunächst mit Blind Auditions, in denen die Talente einen Song performen, während die Coaches ihnen den Rücken zuwenden. Sie sehen erst dann das Gesicht zur Stimme, wenn sie den Buzzer drücken und damit zeigen, dass sie das jeweilige Talent gerne in ihrem Team hätten. Sobald jeder Coach dann sein Team zusammen hat, treten die Talente in sogenannten "Sing Offs" gegeneinander an. Im Finale performen sie dann live und die Zuschauer können per Voting für ihren Favoriten abstimmen. Sieger ist also, wer die meisten Stimmen erhält.
Die The Voice Senior Coaches sind für Fans des Casting-Formats keine Neulinge: Neben den Frontmännern von The BossHoss, Sascha Vollmer aka Hoss Power und Alec Völkel aka Boss Burns, freuen sich auch Yvonne Catterfeld, Michael Patrick Kelly, und Sasha auf die Senioren-Talente und den Wettstreit mit den anderen Teams.

I dont understand why the judges need to look at their fellow judges before hitting that damn red button! Its so obvious that these seniors got the voice! Like wtf? Whos with me? 🙌

I think it's because they can only have a certain number of contestents from the first round, so they're having to weigh up whether this is a voice that suits their style to coach and whether another judge will more likely to try and steal a contestent they think they'd do well with.

Das ist auch im Großen immer noch so... die "Alten" aus den 70ern/80ern drücken einfach besser auf der Bühne. Ohne Laser, Pyro und Video-Schnickschnack...

Ich hätte bereits bei 0:16 gedrückt.
Alleine schon weil es klang wie das original ;)
Ich hätte mein verdammtes Leben darauf verwettet, dass da Meat Loaf singt. Völlig unverständlich, wie man da nicht sofort auf diesen dämlichen Knopf hauen kann.
Diese ganzen "Alten" stehlen jedem jüngeren die Show. Die liedauswahl ist sowieso besser.
The Voice ist gescripted, viele Songs werden bei "The Voice of X" einfach nicht genehmigt bzw die Teilnehmer ohne eine herzzerreißende Geschichte werden mit ihrer Songauswahl nach Hause geschickt, weil sie teilweise "zu alt" sind für die breite Masse. Bei "Senior" sind natürlich die älteren Songs gewünscht.

Die Liedauswahl ist nur bedingt besser😂😂😂
Es waren damals eben bessere und vor allem handmade Songs.

Ich bin ehrlich ich kann den Kommerzmist was mom geboten wird echt nicht mehr wirklich hören diese Sendung mit Senioren ist das beste was ich je gesehen habe die haben so viel charismatische Ausstrahlung. Es gehört viel öfter ins Programm wer weiß wieviel Senioren den Wunsch haben dies noch zu erleben man weiß nie wann wir uns verabschieden müssen. Bitte macht die Sendung öfters. Ich liebe es.
Die ersten paar Töne ohne ihn zu sehen - man meint Meat Loaf steht da. 👏
