    BUDDYMOON DAY 413/1000 (VLOG 114)
We head out into Kathmandu in order to try some Nepali food such as Sel Roti and Chattamari, a true Nuwari dish from the people of the the Kathmandu Valley. Sel Roti is basically a donut that is often had with Masala tea.
As we would be trekking in Nepal, we still wanted to into the mountains of Kathmandu. We found a cable car just on the outskirts of Kathmandu, Nepal that goes up Chandragiri Hill. This is one of the biggest mountains close to Kathmandu so it was simply a must for us when in Kathmandu.

Hey, the price you paid for cable car was the foreigner’s price. We usually play 500 to 800 rupees as Nepalese people. So, you paid the foreigner fees and got the special treat. The price is different for people from Nepal or SAARC countries or any other countries and all the Nepalese standing in line must not feel bad or sad because we have a principle we follow “guest is our god” so don’t feel bad guys.

Loving the interesting bits of info you giving along the way! My experience with queue ‘skipping’ was because we foreigners and pay a much higher price so it’s accepted your entrance is faster and different to the locals. It does feel weird but so respectful and appreciate their kindness towards foreigners as you guys are❤ That said, it doesn’t happen at all attractions.

And the purpose of ringing the bell is to swipe away the negetive energy collected around the air or atmosphere. for example when you throw stone in water it creates the round wave and circle became bigger and bigger and also swipes away the litters or any small garbage far away. well I don't know how to explain exactly but try to understand..:) :)

The Nepalese break fast sel rotti and tea looks very simple and affordable for sure. The pizza like Noveli people's dishes are also very nice the way you felt. Good luck to the original natives of Nepalis.
The cable car drive to the Chandragiri hills top looks amazing to see from it.
I think the special treatment given to you, was the special ticket you bought for 5700/- rupees and it's a VIP ticket. Like in some famous temples, there are tickets available for a quick and closer look inside the temple or any tourist spot for special prices than for an ordinary ticket. The long queue is for the temple visit that the locals may have to go and pray for their well being.
Hindus always take a clockwise visit to the temple as earth rotates on the same way😅.
    Thank you🎉

If you aren't going to Lukla or doing a Himalayan sightseeing flight, make sure to at least visit Nagarkote (a few hours drive from Kathmandu) for some awesome views of Himalayas (stay there for 2 days if you can and you might be lucky to get a clear view late afternoon ... the hotels there can be a tad expensive though). On the way back to Kathmandu, stop by at Bhaktapur (2-3 hours there should be enough).
