I'm actually in the process of releasing a video either today or tomorrow for tips and tricks for the TMUA, as well as all the revision resources I've used, but I'll give you a summary here. 1) Do all the papers multiple times, specifically noting what you got wrong and what you need to improve on. 2) Get a book for the TMUA to revise (you can research some on Amazon). 3) Practise with the equipment that they're going to use (e.g. know the software that they're going to be using in the test centre, if they're using whiteboards, etc...) 4) Use r2drew2 to learn the specification for what is going to be tested (you can also do this by getting a book as well) In terms of resources: - r2drew2 - beyond horizon tutors - Jacqueline Taylor - I have a Google docs that I've made for myself when revising for the TMUA but I'll share that when I release the video Hopefully that helps!
Generally the TMUA papers aren't really like the UKMT papers, but I can see where your friend's coming from. This year the problems were more abstract, which made them more harder.
Congrats on the result, I'm actually hoping to achieve at least a 6 on the January sitting. Do you have any tips for taking the TMUA?
