Watch as I go through life one step at a time!
Hi, my name is Rehaan!
As of 2024, I am in 6th form currently doing my A-levels.
The A-levels which I'm doing are: Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
I am currently predicted to get A* within all subjects (if you don't believe me check the channel trailer).
Other than that, I am an avid fan of table tennis, cricket, boxing and MMA.
In terms of shows, I do love to watch anime.
I don't really like rating best anime, but I can say for sure my favourite transformation EVER is SSJ2 Gohan.
And above all else, as a muslim, I try to prioritise religion over everything I do.
For now I'm only documenting my academic life, so see if you like it.
If you do then please sub 🙏
Oh yeah one more thing,
I also run a newsletter sharing the strategies highlighted by industry professionals which keeps them productive.

Just found your channel bro. It’s fire 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate that 💪
As you are Asian, I expected no different
🫡 thanks
Np. I have an Asian background so this sort of thing is in our blood lol
Lol so true 😂
Thanks so much for sharing this doc it'll be an invaluable resource for quick and consistent review! Best of luck for imperial as well!
Thank you! I'm glad to hear my resources are doing you some good. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
@rkademe Hey! Just wanted to ask, what course were you apply to for Imperial? Also, your thoughts on the way grade boundaries may be this year, as lower grades may have more value to them than lower years? How would thay impact your course, and any news you have about Imperial for this?
I haven't gotten any news from Imperial about the grade boundaries, apart from the fact that (from my own jurisdiction when they released the graph of the grades) it seems to me like they bump lower grades higher by quite a big margin but already high grades don't get as much of an increase. That's what I think is happening anyway.
In terms of the course, I'm applying for mathematics and computer science, so it's very competitive 😅 tbh with the TMUA score I got I doubt I'll be able to get in but let's see, God willing.
That’s actually a great resource, i will definitely read the day before and almost everyday up until the exam 🤝
Hey, do you have any specific topics that came up in the tmua? Thank you
No problem, I'm glad to hear that you like the resource! In terms of topics that came up, I'm sorry but I can't really remember anything too well. All I can remember is that a historian question came up, as well as the keyword "contrapositive". So maybe try revising statistics and the new keywords in the spec. I hope that helps!
Any topics in particular?

Arrive whenever you want. There's no inherent benefit in reaching early or in the nick of time. The benefits are all situational. And those of you who has anxiety before exam or in general, social anxiety, go see a doctor to have some remedies at hand. And make sure to plan on something really enjoyable after the exam. And that should not be dependent on how good you do in the exam.
Hmmm I agree the benefits are situational, but I'd say it's best to arrive early as you will be able to prepare mentally. And yes, you should do whatever you can to cure your anxiety, be it from the doctor or through your own practises you prefer (e.g. prayer, meditation) And especially after the exam, you should walk out of the exam hall with your head held high knowing you did as much as possible to get the highest mark. There wasn't anything else you could do!
Keep it up bro🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
I also see that you have 3.3k yourself, that's amazing bro! Keep up the great work 💪
Out of curiosity have you seen the Yotta paper 1 on the R2drew2 website? Was wondering if this was similar difficulty to the TMUA 2024 (and what you think the score conversions for the October sitting were)
They're easier than the 2024 papers. If the 2024 were a 10/10 (not saying they are, just for comparison), the yotta papers are probably a 6/10 difficulty. In terms of score conversion, if you got a low score they will bump you up. If you got a high score, it won't really affect you all that much.
@rkademe Fair enough, must've been real tough then. Any advice on how to (or any resources to) prepare for the enhanced difficulty considering past papers are much easier?
When I was revising for the TMUA I made a Google docs which contain tips and tricks I've thought about after doing tons of TMUA exam questions. So, I'll just make a quick video showing that Google docs off, since quite a few people are asking for it. But I haven't edited the video yet, and I've got a CS exam tomorrow so it's looking long 😭. I'll try to release it asap but check tomorrow if you're not prepared to watch the video at 1am 😂
There is also a longer, 10 minutes ish video, that's in the works about all the resources you can use for the TMUA, and I'll try to release that asap asw. Since the holidays are here now, I'll just grind and crank out that video when I have time.
@rkademe Thanks so much, you're a lifesaver!
WHERES THE BOOK!! ATTACH A LINK. THANKKS.
The Comprehensive TMUA Guide: 2024 specification- 350+ Exam Style Questions Just search that on Amazon and you should be able to find the book. Sorry I can't send you the link directly! For some reason TH-cam is not allowing for me to paste the link directly, but just type that and you should be able to find it. The book cover is orange and yellow.
@rkademe What to do if I have low IQ and struggle with maths? i wanna study maths in uni but I have low iq.

😉
Thanks a lot for the vid mate
No problem 👍
Can you please help me with the difference between tmua 2023 and 24, right now im barely scratching a 7 on past papers, am i cooked? Also is step 1 useful for tmua?
From when I was revising for the TMUA, STEP 1 wasn't really that helpful. Sorry if I get you worried but I'm going to be honest: TMUA 2024 is a different beast compared to 2023. The numbers they included were more challenging and the problems had multiple layers to them. Just knowing the basics won't do you any good, you need to find ways to put yourselves in tough situations and then find ways to get out of those tough situations which are suited to the way you work. That's my only advice for the TMUA 2024. If you're getting a 7 now, then, hoping the January paper isn't that bad, you should be good enough to get a passing grade (assuming your preds are good asw)
For an estimate, were the questions as hard as the last 5 tmua questions or were they just completely different?
Yeah all the questions were around as hard as the last 5 TMUA questions on past papers.
Still rooting for your chances for Imperial!!! Do you have the google doc for the organized notes for the TMUA if you're willing to share?
Yeah, but sorry, I'll share it with you in the next video though because I want everyone to see it. It's also the fact that I don't have the document completely ready yet, so I need to tidy it up before I share it to everyone.
where do i find the bicen math questions i cant really find the website?
Go to Mr bicens TH-cam channel, and click on his link which directed you to his Google drive at the top. There you can see all his exam questions for pure and applied a level maths
Congrats on the result, I'm actually hoping to achieve at least a 6 on the January sitting. Do you have any tips for taking the TMUA?
I'm actually in the process of releasing a video either today or tomorrow for tips and tricks for the TMUA, as well as all the revision resources I've used, but I'll give you a summary here. 1) Do all the papers multiple times, specifically noting what you got wrong and what you need to improve on. 2) Get a book for the TMUA to revise (you can research some on Amazon). 3) Practise with the equipment that they're going to use (e.g. know the software that they're going to be using in the test centre, if they're using whiteboards, etc...) 4) Use r2drew2 to learn the specification for what is going to be tested (you can also do this by getting a book as well) In terms of resources: - r2drew2 - beyond horizon tutors - Jacqueline Taylor - I have a Google docs that I've made for myself when revising for the TMUA but I'll share that when I release the video Hopefully that helps!
@rkademe Thanks bro, Inshallah the channel pops off
Also would you agree with my friend who's saying that this years paper was more like UKMT in terms of the problem solving aspect, thanks again
إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ
Generally the TMUA papers aren't really like the UKMT papers, but I can see where your friend's coming from. This year the problems were more abstract, which made them more harder.
we do edexcel and its wayyyyyy easier
Is it? What about it is easier?
@ just the spec
Ahhhh I see
LOL😭😭
what did you get for kangaroo
Our school didn't sign up for it, and it wasn't a priority for me to be honest since I've got my a-levels this year and I have already submitted my UCAS so it would just be a waste of time to be honest.
That’s really good advice man thanks alot
No problem!
Just what I needed to hear !
You're welcome!
I prefer the dopamin release
Lol thanks, I'll keep on doing more of these then
You need more likes mate
Thanks
I just have had to accept I won't get an offer from Imperial, don't really know what happened but got a 4.2 in Maths 1, a 1 in Maths 2 (literally dead) and a 4.5 in Physics. I did think it went badly, but I saw others also found it the same so held out hope. I hope the PAT isn't the same, I felt it went well and it is my main focus, ngl though this is quite a low moment.
Like literally that's so bad I don't know how I messed it up that royally.
To be honest I feel you, even though I did a tiny bit better I don't think it's going to make a difference anyway. Although I would normally be all for being aspirational, I think what you're doing is right -being realistic. At least this way you won't feel too bad. If you don't get into Imperial then at least you already expected that, but if you do get an offer then you'll feel over the moon. Anyways, best of luck that your pat exam results turn out to be much much better, and even if it isn't, you can still be proud that you tried the best you can. There's no way to turn back time and do it all over again, so you can at least be proud of what you achieved!
It happens to all of us, but it's just a shame it has to happen now 😞
Dude it’s all good I got 4.8 and I just have to accept it
😔 it's alright, we can go to the other unis 💪
r u dumb it got released today
use tabular integration for integration by parts. Backpenredpen made a video on tabular integration and it makes it so much easier
Tysm for the tip! My teacher taught the same thing as a technique you can use quickly for easy integration by parts but I never really understood it...
wait so have you finished chapters 1 to 7 in the core pure 2 book. ?! i feel like my school is really behind. we are on chapter 5 right now and skipped 4
No, we didn't go through them in order. We skipped some chapters. So far we've done chapter 1, 2, 3 and 6. We're starting chapter 5 now, then doing 4, 7 and 8...
i hope you get a great result inshallah!.
إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ I hope so
I hope it went well! I know the Maths tests are a lot more difficult (for me at least 😅). I'd recommend looking at Student Room for other people's reactions, it should give you some peace of mind - a lot of people would have found the exam more difficult than you!
Got 107, so annoyed with myself as it was only one away from olympiad... but u did so well, fantastic stuff
Yeah it's annoying, this is the highest the boundary's ever been for the Olympiad - but what can you do now. What's done is done, we can only focus on improving ourselves for the future 💪
i got 106, i just needed to get 1 right
😭😭😭 it seems like everybody was really close to Olympiad
I really agree with you on the thinking part of maths is the best thing. These olympiad/smt style questions are the coolest and most satisfying to solve.
Exactly! These sort of problems are in reality the ones that will help you grow as a mathematician/physician/problem solver
How did your test go? I sat the PAT yesterday and I think it went fairly well 😅
I haven't done it yet but I'll post a reaction video when I do it (which is tomorrow!) In terms of prep, I feel recently prepared. I'm aiming for at least 80%, which is what I've been getting in the past papers, but the actual exam is probably going to pull some looney toons craziness and start introducing symbols and maths that I've never seen before in my life 😭... But yeah I'll tell you how I feel about it tomorrow!
And I'm glad to hear that the PAT went well for you! 😄
@@rkademe good luck! I general performed about 85 in my practice runs, though the test threw some curve balls, I think I think I got 70 marks ±5 (average for offers is 70.3) , though I won't know for a while if I completely messed up. Someone who's prepared as much as you should do great 👍 you certainly helped me out with my prep
Thanks a lot! It's great to hear that what I'm putting out is helping someone at least. I'm sure you'll get that offer from Oxford, you deserve it after all the hard work you put in!
what did you get in your maths challenge
I've released a video showing my reaction to what I've got but in short I got 105/125. I'm happy about that score since it means I got a gold certificate and I'm invited to the Andrew Robbins senior kangaroo challenge, but I'm gutted that I missed out on getting into BMO1 🥲 But it's alright, there's nothing else for me to do now, I'm still happy with my result
Dude just curious I’m doing maths and further maths. How are you on content have you finished all of normal maths yet?
In terms of what my school is doing, we're on pure year 2 and applied year 2 for maths (we're trying to finish applied maths asap so we can do a lot of practise on that) For further maths, we're on CP2 chapter 3 - methods of calculus (likewise, we're trying to finish Core Pure asap before finishing the option modules, FP1 and FM1, so we can do a lot of practise)
@ oh thanks I thought I was behind. Btw how did you find the Tmua . It was nice watching your shorts during Tmua season!
I'm glad to hear you found my tmua shorts good. It's nice to know that someone found my videos useful! I'll make a longer form video soon about my reaction to the tmua, but in short, it went alright. Although paper 1 was really difficult, paper 2 was not too bad (the same difficulty as the past papers). I think I'll get around 30/40 in total, realistically 33.
@ mashallah
جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ
How did you find the TMUA? What do u think you got on each paper?
I'll upload a longer video showing my reaction to the papers tomorrow, but I think I did alright. I didn't do my best, but I think I did enough to get at least 27/40. Paper 1 was diabolical, nothing like that past papers. Paper 2 was definitely the easier one, looking more like the past papers. It's a shame that the papers got leaked, I wonder what the exam organisers are going to do about it now 🤔 Ideally I'd like to get 33/40, realistically speaking.
Did u take the exam on the 16th or 17th?
16th
16th
The way I've prepared is to do so many past papers that my floor is high enough to have a good shot - as long as tou can confidently get 65 you should be golden. I make a list of all the types of questions I struggle with and focus on revising those. I think the PAT might be a bit easier in some respects though.
Yeah that's definitely a good idea, what I'd recommend as well (I talk more about this in my UKMT video) is that whenever you do a test or a past paper and you get something wrong, make sure 1) you understand why you got it wrong 2) what information or lack of information led to you getting it wrong, including perhaps time pressure and 3) what can you do to prevent you from getting that question wrong again
Sitting the PAT on Monday, doing my best to prepare, not as structured as you though which makes me nervous. I'm averaging very well on the past papers though - hope we both make it 🤞🙏
It seemed like you did really well in the pat, which is excellent and really good to hear! It means that all that hard work paid off 💪
Hopefully I can come out of the MAT feeling as hopeful as you did coming out of your PAT 😅
What did u get on senior maths challenge?
I haven't gotten my results, I'll make a full video when I have (most likely on Tuesday)
I got 105/125
Read about you applying to imperial/oxford, gl bro, i got my tmua tommorow
Thanks bro How was your tmua exam?
@@rkademe It was good, nothing like the past papers imo, paper 1 was fine paper 2 was a breeze to me, what about you?
Yeah I'd say paper 1 was harder than the past papers we've had so far but paper 2 was easier. Overall it went well for me. I think I'm going to get at least 30/40. I definitely didn't get more than 15 in paper 1 although paper 2 I think I'm going to get like 17-18/20. Ideally I want 33/40 but let's see.
yh gg's , how was tmua
I'll release a video soon talking about the experience but tldr it was decent, paper 1 of course was the worse paper. I think in P1 I'll get 15/20 and P2 I'll get 17-18/20, at the VERY LEAST I'll get 30/40 overall, which should hopefully be at least an 8.
@@rkademe nice one mate
Thanks
how was tmua
Check the other comment, but I'll release a video soon talking about it. Yeah sorry about that I haven't uploaded a video or short in a while 😅 Tomorrow I'll try to record a lot so I don't run out of things to upload
I’m sitting the TMUA this year as well on the 17th. Do you have it on the 16th or 17th?
I have on 17th
He is taking it on the 16th
Yeah I'm taking it on the 16th
Sorry I haven't been able to make more videos, I was planning to but I got a bit busy. Hopefully I can start making more videos on Wednesday or maybe even tomorrow.
not to be intrusive 😶 but when are you taking the tmua? is it the 16th or the 17th?
16th
please make a video on tmua progress. I am so nervous about it but you are the one who gives me confidence!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm glad my content is helping at least one person 👍
did u make it to bmo?
I haven't gotten my results back yet, I'll probably get them back on Tuesday. I'll make a follow up video to tell you if I did.
However after looking at the grade boundaries I'd say it's unlikely.
Yeah my hunch was correct, I didn't make it to BMO, I got 105/125. The mark needed for BMO was 110
My video is out btw if you want to see that
Don’t do computer science. Do EEE
Why?
Best of both worlds. You get to learn electronics, software and digital hardware design.
Hmmm, thanks for the suggestion! One of my best friends is doing EEE (although he's unbelievably smart, I can't even begin to imagine how to get to his level) and the way that he describes it is just the way that you did - a mixture of both hardware and software. Paired that with the fact that software engineering, which is the career path I want to do in the future, is extremely competitive compared to EEE. So, if I were to apply again I'd think heavily between EEE and software engineering. But I think it's too late now, I have to submit my UCAS application on Monday, so there's no time to change my choices. Sorry for the long message btw, I thought I might as well tell you my full reasoning why I'm choosing CS.
It’s my first time doing senior challenge, i’m in Y12 and I got gold!
Congrats, that's super good! Yeah that was the same for me last year. Next year aim for Olympiad 💪 that's what I tried to do this time
@@rkademe If I can get the olympiad next year then I’ll be the only person in my colleges history! So far i’m also the closest person there (I even beat all the Y13s)
Then 100% try and give it your best shot. You'll never know until you try
Also congrats on beating all the year 13s in your year and becoming the best!
@@rkademe thank you!
