You are a great teacher. I kept at it last night & mastered #10. My hands, fingers & shoulders are not young anymore so this one worked for my theme. Also your fabric looks softer than the batik I git at Joann's Fabrics.

You can go to Joann's and get them. They have different styles, colors, and fabric. Like silk, cotton, polyester so much to choose from. I just got a whole lot of them the cut whatever size you need. I had mine cut at 2 yards it's pretty big, but with all my hair and when I put them in braids I need the length. It was my first time going yesterday and today.... download the app to get coupons while you are there. I hope this helps!

Do any of these designs have specific cultural significance or are they more generic? I love the look and want to pay homage to my family's East African roots but being white complicates things. I want to do this out of love and respect so any help to avoid cultural appropriation is much appreciated! Bless ❤️
