HEy! so cool! i am a senoir white chick and in a pinch i have done this too! and with my little sweater one day. You are brilliant and creative and now it dont feel so silly about trying it out. You have taught me how to do it right!! so a word about my hair which is difficult and part bone straight cherokee and part scots-irish curly wavy. ... sounds nice but it all occurs in the wrong places. i just keep it on the short side, but some days it is just like wearing a helmet or looks too masculine for me, so the headscarf makes me happy and beautiful. I thank you my Black sisters for giving yet another amazing gift of beauty to your Pale Beige sisters....keep it up and bring us ALL up !!

You just saved the day!! I'm from England and I'm a Hebrew! After finding out my true identity I decided I'm going to wear wraps but had no idea how to go about it. I'm broadcasting on an internet radio/tv show and I only know 2 wrap styles so my friend stepped in and started wrapping my head for me!! Loved it....but now I need to learn and matriculate up from nursery school to university! Hahahaha! It's all good. Leggings yes girl! I make wraps out of everything. Shirts. Skirts. Dresses. Old fabric. I only have one scarf that I actually paid for and is specifically for hair. I got the bottom half of an old skirt on my head right now and it's bomb. 😂😂

MzCAGOMEA u get silk slips and old gown at the thrift shop and it works very well. You don’t have to worry about cutting it to style your wrap as you would use other wrapping techniques to get more looks. 😊

My sweet young sisters, it is so cute that you all are learning what we have been doing for decades. It is precious. Knit fabric (like my sister said, gowns) are always the best because they are gentle on the hair, and they are pliable malleable items for best styling. My GRANDMAMA, mom, and aunties....all of us wore headwraps in the sixties and seventies made of satin or nylon or polyester fabric and wore them to family reunions. Fly as H!

Omg lol when I was little, my mother used to do look #5 on me before bed every night instead of a satin bonnet...except she used pantyhose! Then she would pull the waistband down over my eyes so I would keep them closed and sleep 😂

I enjoyed your video. One suggestion I would like to make is to try wearing your satin cap under the leggings instead of the hat. I would be afraid that the hat would cause too much friction and could lead to breakage. Definitely going to try this.
