That's it...when I'm done healing up from my head on collision I just had on my streetbike..I'm going get a new vmax...thought I was done with streetbike but I can't seem to let them go
I had a first gen 06 black. The second gen are way more power. The engineer's original prototype was over 300 HP, and they had to detune it like 5 times to get it down to manageable power levels.
With your bike on it’s side stand, notice how there’s hardly any oil level in your clutch? It also means your #4 cyl is being under-oiled, & will result in premature wear when idling on it’s side stand. My ‘85 V Max suffered about 25% loss of C/R at only 32K of mileage in my #4 cyl because of it. Nice bike though. This phenomenon occurs only at idle engine speed, because the oil being slinged-off the crankshaft to lube the cyl wall is insufficient while being angled while parked on side stand. No problem while engine is revving being leaned over into corners.
That sound is like a Symphony of clean lubricants and well synchronized gears !! Wish I had one VMAX right now!

Its a pressurized oil system. Its getting where it need to be. Will taking corners starve it for Oil?
