I only just played as Blue sun a few days ago for the achievements and lost it when I saw the rockets where only 500m lol. I always played as Japan or europe mostly and they are 3B lol.
This is why you leave your domes on highest priority so that they still get power by your stiring generators at night. It also helps to place water and air storage near the domes and use valves to seperate broken pipes in case of an emergency.
With Stirling Generator's, a good trick is to place them in a Dome, but open them up. The Dome essentially prevents any need for maintenance, due to Dust exposure. Works for solar panels as well. A mini dome, that you close off, can hold around 9 or so.
Just to let you know (if you didn't already), you don't need your extractors to be directly on top of the deposit, they have a certain range of influence to where they can mine up resources. So you can be quite a bits away from the deposit and still be able to mine it.
Redundant paths! Make sure there are more than one power & pipe connection from your life support systems to your domes. Also add a connection between the two domes. Ideally, you want everything connected into a network so that one line going down never disconnects anything important. Also, do you have _any_ recreation building except a couple parks? No wonder colonists are snapping!
Despite being it being a wide spread point of advice for Surviving Mars, I have never been in a situation where having only one path for life support commodities has caused me any harm. Despite playing on some meteor heavy maps and having 300 hours in the game. This maybe however, because I haven't happened on a situation where it would.
Maybe put the landing pad at the border of the Drone range, as far away from actuall stuff as possible? Colonits only need to walk one time - when they join. So their walking time should be entirely irrelevant. And the rest of the work is drone work anyway. Propably add a staging stockpile for fuel and Rare Metals nearby to frontload the moving process. But otherwise it does seem more sensible to have it as far away as possible.
The landing pad, although the animation shows it kicking up dust actually neutralises the effects of rockets landing. So being further away just means it takes longer for drones to service them.

The ben guy is correct. The landing pads eliminate dust. You want your pads landing close to service depots for loading and unloading. Putting them far away just takes rockets longer to refuel and load cargo for expeditions.

When I played this map I used the research spot when I got medium domes and then I used them because you can hit almost all of them. If you hit all of them you’ll need a mega dome
Early game, ramps make much more sense than tunnels which use huge amount of machine parts that you can't really afford. Then again Pravus is swimming in funding so it might not be a problem in his case. I always find tunnels only made sense once I start producing my own parts.

You need to build factories as well. To produce polymers, machine parts and electronics. You need those buildings to be self-sufficient, or at least get on the way to self-sufficiency.

ouch only 5 alien artifacts. Slightly cheaty tip folks save at 99% researched then reload for up to max 9 = 27% reduction to all research when all scanned.
