    Ensar: This is…I mean to me this is the apex of everything agarwood. I mean you can't get higher. If you...I tried to distill higher than this and it doesn't get higher than this.
    Ehab: Ah, this is…
    Ensar: This is Nytrang LTD. Some people say Natrang LTD.
    Ehab; Well, I don't care what they call it.
    (Laughter)
    Ensar: As long as it smells like this.
    Ehab: If it smells like this, they can call it whatever they want.
    Ensar: It's that bitter soul stirring aroma of the kyara.

    I would term it Fana fi Oud, just like Fana fi sheikh in Sufism. SubhanAllah MashaAllah what a journey this discussion has taken to, I like your sessions with Sheikh Ehab more than any other guests (my humble interest, with no offense to any other guest) because he shares the same connectivity with Oud.

    Asalaamu walaikum,
    When I look at these videos I sense a deep mystical vibe and I feel the passion for meaningful things expressed by these two lovely brothers.
    Its like a language that only a few can appreciate. You have to be on the same frequency to understand the depths of it.
    I feel like this energy can also inspire persons who are into organic food, fruits, and healthy living etc...it can all connect harmoniously.
    If you pay attention, our beloved brother has a deep connection to quality, organic and original scents in its pure untouched natural form.
    Unfortunately, its really hard to see the world heading in a direction where mass production is the main objective. The soul of originality is lost in the process. And by extension, the one who truly appreciates and tries to upkeep traditional values are often ignored.
    Never worry, you are loved by likeminded folks like us. Alhamdulilah, keep up the great work.

    As Salaam Alaikum Sheikh, Ma Sha Allah, Subhanallah and Alhumduillah. I can imagine the symphony and effect of OUDH which transports you to another level. I can imagine the level of talk which you had on the show, such a powerful and spiritual thoughts. Ma Sha Allah, Allah S.W T has given you opportunity to meet , fulfill your dream and passion. Not all in this life get such a golden chance to accomplish the goal or live the passion. In today's world most of us have responsibilities and not have enough cash or monetary power / support to buy and try out your OUDH. Specially when it comes to dollars. I am based out in India and it becomes extremely impossible to try out the samples. I can only watch your videos and enjoy the talk. In Sha Allah, Allah will make me sniff scent of heaven in Jannah and I will be accompanied by all of us. Ameen.

    This man didn't understand Beethoven. Beethoven gets me this feeling in the chest like only a few other composers.

    • @interqward1
      @interqward1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These boys understand Beethoven all right, don't worry about that...! Maybe Tolstoy was being your typical Russian 'ironic realist' - yet he was making the meaning of art and the foundation mechanisms of art and the power of art accessible to everyone by saying what he said the way he said it.
      The fact that you yourself love Beethoven and also watch these videos also proves something valuable about it all... There is a close connection between the subjects in question. As for whether Beethoven is any good... (Tongue in cheek).
      Ha! LOLz. We don't need to 'discuss' such a foolish question.

      Oh I agree with you about that! I give him a bit of leeway because I have experienced the 'standard' Russian mindset and am rather indebted to them up to a point on account of a 'past life' or at least past history of my own life. There is no doubt that Beethoven can be 'ornate' to those who have only limited exposure to those works. ...Um, I favor the ornate, personally.

  • @interqward1
    @interqward1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yep yep yes. Wise words. These videos have only a modest amount of views to begin with, but we are watching something that will last, stand the test of time; can be shown to higher education students, people interested in learning art and culture, or maybe learning 'about' art and culture, because ultimately, it is indeed about whether one's sensibilities are sufficiently open. These things one must learn about, be exposed to from people that have 'gone there before.'

    Dear beloved Ensar Bey. I've made an eau de parfum which I think came out well. It still needs a slight bit of tweaking. The notes are as follows: Top - Frangipani absolute, Pink Lotus absolute and Indian Jasmine absolute. Mid - Oud Yusuf, carnation absolute, davana, Haitian vetiver, osmanthus absolute and rhododendron. Base - Oud extraordinaire, Santal Royale, Mysore sandalwood, beeswax absolute, benzoin, butter and coconut. Oud Extraordinaire is there in the background from the start but as the mid vanishes, it asserts itself. I'm going to increase Santal Royale and Oud Yusuf a tid bit as well as Jasmine and Frangipani. When it's ready I will send it to you inshaAllah so that you see what I've done with your ouds :)

    I truly respect your work and your status in the oud world sir, but I don't agree with your "anti-sampling" stance. Not everyone can afford to buy several thousand dollars worth of oud oils. Does that mean that they don't have the right to experience your oud oils? That's absurd.
    Is this all about the money? Are your oils only for sheikhs and very rich people? Nobody said that you should offer your samples for a bargain, so if you practice the equivalent pricing of 3 g for a 0,1 g sample you won't go out of business. You'd earn the same money, maybe even more because you'd reach a wider audience and more people would afford to experience your oud oils.
