The reason Zeus requested Hestia to retrieve the Elusinian stone is because of Hestia's ability to resist temptation (hence, why she is one of the three virgin goddesses). Unlike Athena and Artemis, however, Hestia often remains out of conflict and is considered the most peaceful of all gods and goddesses. I'm really happy they featured Hestia's abilities, as there are little to no stories about her, despite being the most prayed to goddess in all of Greece!
I know right, I never expected the first Goddess we would see or hear in season 2 would be Hestia, but she’s given such respect in this show, I love it and her design, she looks modest but still beautiful.
Hestia and Roman vesta were both worshiped highly . Protecter of the hearth and home. Vestal virgins and priestesses were dedicated to her in Greece and Rome
