  • Hey Friend,
Welcome! Watch how I varnish my handmade cement vessels using a water-based, non-toxic, no heavy metals, and sealer.
This is one of my favorite varnishes (I also use the sealers!) for my vessels. I also use it on my cement and wood projects.
    Amazon Sponge has two options:

    amzn.to/3l5BRbo
    Paint Brush: amzn.to/3TJnYR7
    Earth Safe Finishes

    Sealer application:
    1. Wet brush/sponge lightly
    2. Apply a thin coat of varnish using a brush or sponge.
    3. Wait for the first layer to dry (approximately 30 - 60 minutes)
    4. Apply a second coat.
    5. Allow the varnish to fully dry (24-48hrs) before adding any wax.
    Have fun!
Concrete jars make beautiful planters, jewelry, and candle vessels.

Please, do you seal first before using varnish? And what is the difference between the satin and gloss? I saw that option on their website

I would recommend additional dealing to use as a dishware. I have never tried it so I'm not able to provide a recommendation but I'm sure there is a special sealant that should be use for this purposes.

Thanks for your videos. How do you adhesive the beige color on the concrete? Are you using grey concrete with a beige pigment powder. Or something else ?

Hi! 👋 Yes! I add pigment gray cement.
The color is added during casting. I'm adding the color "sand" to reach that beige.

After varnish and sealer can we put it in sunlight to dry up?

      @ksentials4442  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi! I have left them out of dry in the sun with no issues.

Hi, I get some white patches on the product when I cure from water. Any idea how to get rid of it?

Hi Tamaya, try reducing the amount of water your are using. Another indicator of excess water may be in the sturdiness of the final product.
If the amount is not an issue, I would suggest mixing a little longer. Let me know if any of these works.
