My first ever journey on a Class 777 since their entry into service on 23rd January 2023. Since then, they have added a male voice for safety announcements such as "please stand clear of the doors" alongside Julie Berry and the DFT female who have always been on the 777s ever since their initial entry into service.

The new trains are great, they have better windows no opening the windows so it’s quieter, the open design of the carriages is great. I loved the old trains but we waited years for new trains here on Merseyside and I love them

just as good as the old stock
