I’ve watched this at least four times. After the first time I ordered it! I just got it so I just watched it again. I can’t believe everything it does for the money!
The Zen engine has always sounded good so a good UI for it is great , however the accelerometer and it’s gimmicks take up resources that could have been better spent on storage for more PCMs and Wavetables and or space for user sample and Wavetable data .
As always Dustin does the best Roland videos, ok we’ve got all the technical videos out of the way! Now can someone make a basic track with this thing!
I would die for a 16-part multitimbral synth with 16 channel USB audio out…. The biggest disappointment of the Integra-7 for me is the single stereo USB out. The MC-707 is 8 channel USB audio…there’s no reason why they can’t do 16 in 2023.
Daaamn, never gotten into anything beyond my midi keyboard when it comes to synths and this looks super exciting... was thinking of upgrading my drum module but that might have to go on pause if I keep seeing how much this can do!
Feel like an X-Y pad would have been better, along with a pitch wheel as opposed to the pitch buttons. The other gripe is the way you save stuff on there, a more simplified method would have been better. But apart from that it's pretty enjoyable to work with once you get into the groove of it.
I just ordered this, should be here in a day and this video just makes me more excited. This looks like it's already heading the the hall of fame for synths. Great user interface, super deep despite looking simple, so well thought. But what's impressed even more is how incredible it sounds to me, its sonic quality seems as if it could rival the really expensive Sequential Circuits, Arturia, Novation, etcetera. It's going to be perfect combined with my Hydrasynths.
Roland and Japanese brands in general are of exceptional quality. I have always been happy with them. I'm a guitarist, but I remember my Roland Micro Cube which was exceptional and at that time you could put batteries in it. It was very convenient to take it everywhere. Today, I play only on Japanese equipment, I have two Edwards guitars and a Boss Katana MKII and I'm still happy with all
Nice! Demo has kind of an 808 State vibe to it. Really close to pulling the trigger on this. Pretty fun little piece of kit. I can imagine paring it up with my Tempest.
Both them have pros & cons to eachother. It depends your setup. Mc-707 has a samples advantages & 128 step 8 track sequencer. But sh-4d has drum synth & sh101 & Juno106 & Wavetable synth.
Hopefully my new debit card shows up (I was being skimmed!) so I can preorder the dang thing already! Anyways as usual, it'd be nice to see a demo that wasn't House or Techno or some other 4 on the floor garbage.
