    Really beautiful film.
    The drone footage is very welcome, not too much, but enough to add to the story.
    And so is the addition of "everyday life", Like mooring the boat, cockpit dinning, ship driving and more stuff like that.

    Sorry but I fished it for Years and was there. Not so much on the ice (not that glaciers don't calve on their own as a Natural occurrence)
    However, if you are trying to make it sound as if Global warming is the cause for the incompetent captains action of grounding. You are misleading people watching your video.
    We suffered from the accident. The world as a whole suffered from the accident.
    If you are a "man is creating Global warming " person, then I suggest you should sell your fuel guzzling yacht and lead by example. Me personally, I don't drink the koolaid.

    Tony, what a spectacular view of Prince William Sound. I've driven past it on my way to the interior but have never seen it from this vantage point. Beautiful beyond words, for sure. Great video of the vanishing glaciers and I'm glad you mentioned the lack of snowfall and snowpack in the alpine having an effect on salmon returns. As a 28 year Alaskan, I can tell you that's certainly the case.

    Where does everyone sleep? In the video, there seem to be more than 6-8 people, one master suite and two additional suites could sleep 7...

    • @Filmgen1
      @Filmgen1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Venture has 3 cabins (staterooms). the master forward has one double bed. The port cabin has two single berths plus two additional srow-away berths. The starboard cabin has two single berths. We normally have four people on board. Very rarely we have had six. If we had the optimum mix of relationships, we could sleep a total of eight. When away for extended periods, it is crowded with six. Four is really the optimum number.

    Magmififent. I just wish the volume of the lovely music, was a bit lower in order to hear the sounds of nature. It's too much in the foreground. But thank you for doing and sharing these adventures.

    • @FlemingYachts
      @FlemingYachts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Recent videos have music volume greatly reduced. But recording nature is next to impossible as always extraneous sounds intrude such as machinery, wind, passing aircraft, people talking etc etc etc. Also, drones have no audio for obvious reasons.
