At last! Someone that doesn’t prattle on about everything and anything and is straight to the point! A very well constructed video tutorial and great instructions! Thank you 🙏
Quick, easy! Someone who knows how to make a great video without over talking by repetition of stated steps & by not showing unnecessary steps such as the stitching of seams. Loved it! Thank you
With the measurements given for the fabric size in relation to the cushion pad size and the half inch border, I thought the cover would be way to small. I apologise for doubting your expertise. It is perfect! The easiest cushion cover I've made. Thank you. I'm really looking forward to trying more tutorials from your website.
As a newbie I had to watch this several times, sew - pause - sew - pause. After two days and several pieces of fabric on the floor .... yes! I did it. My first sewing job done! Thank you. I watched other channels too but this was by far the easiest to follow. I have got the bug.
Oh dear! Brenda, you may have found the written instructions helpful. 😊. Here is the link www.alandacraft.com/2018/10/30/zippered-cushion-cover-tutorial/. I am glad to hear that you got the job done, and are ready to make even more projects.

That's brilliant 😊. I am so happy to hear that you had great success with your cushion cover. Putting in a zip can be a bit daunting, especially for someone just starting out, but after you've done a couple you will think nothing of it. It's really quite easy.
I used your video tutorial a couple of years ago and made a bunch of throw pillows. Your video was so great and simple and made doing zippers no longer intimidating. I just watched again because I’m making another throw pillow out of a tote bag that my daughter got me. Glad I could find you easily again.🩵
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I used it to make myself a custom pillow for my bed. I have not been able to find a pillow that worked me so decided to make one for myself. By having the zippered closure I can fiddle with the stuffing until I get it just right. Princess and the pea syndrome with arthritis in my neck has forced many changes in my life. You've saved my neck! I truly appreciate your explanations and demonstrations. You are an angel! Thank you again! ♥♥♥

Ive seen people also sew a zipper over a closed /sewn seem and then pick out the seam once the zipper is sewn in. Keeps it very tight looking, although then you have pick marks. Thanks for the reminder to reinforce the corners!!

Thank you for a great demonstration. I have watched other tutorials of how to make an zipped cushion and your instructions are the first ones that have made any sense and made me think ‘I could do that’. I’m off to my haberdashery shop tomorrow to get some fabric and zips. 😊😁❤️

Very easy the way you show and not so fast that you have to replay video 20 times just to get first step
Thank you
great thank you. sometimes make the envelope pillows slips but they tend to look wonky at times Might as will do the zippers thank your for your great tutorial.
Thank you Joyce. I really like zippers in cushions, and they are relatively easy to add.
Finally after watching a bunch of videos, this one you can understand! Bravo

Excellent Rosi 😊. I'm happy to hear the tutorial was helpful.
I love the fabric you are using!
Thank you 🙂
you made this so easy to follow -- zipper first! Thanks so much!
It's certainly a lot easier than trying to put it in at the end, as I found out from experience. 😃
This was a great tutorial. Very clear and straight forward. Thank you.
Thank you Louise 😊
Thank you so much for giving such precise instructions! So helpful. I now have the confidence to tackle this and know I won’t many any mistakes!
Thank you for your lovely comment Marcia. Just remember to put the zip in the bottom. I wasn't paying attention on one of the cushion covers and put it in the top. Not that it's an issue but in the end I had to unpick because it annoyed me. Don't forget we have the written instructions on the website as well, here is the link www.alandacraft.com/2018/10/30/zippered-cushion-cover-tutorial/
Perfect! Precise and to the point. Easy to follow. Thank you!!

This is the absolute best video for this topic. You are a fabulous teacher. That’s for keeping it on topic and going right to the “meat” of the lesson! Wish I could give you 10 thumbs up!
Thank you for your lovely comment Kim 😊. Happy to hear you like the tutorial.
@@alandacraft I’ve been sewing for nearly 50 years and have never tried using a continuous zipper. Could you make a video on how to use them? That would be great!
Thank you very much for this video sewing lesson. It is so easy following your clear instructions. I am just about to tackle my first zipped cushion cover 😊. I'm watching from Australia.

Excellent Donna. Maybe you can share some photos on the website when you've made them. Here is the link www.alandacraft.com/submit-your-project/
You make this look so easy. I've always made envelope cushions but I've bought zips and I'm getting my machine out right now. I'll get back to you 😉
Excellent, love to hear how it goes.
@@alandacraft The 2 feather filled fitted cushions I had on the back of my sofa were far too heavy for me to plump up all the time so I've replaced them with 4 big feather pillows along the back. It looks great. Can't believe it took me so long to try doing zips. Now my seat is deeper too. Luxury. Thanks again.
