This is the first video I've found where anyone talks about fitting this fridge in a Wrangler. Do you have any plans for a video on your cargo area/storage setup? I'm looking to purchase this fridge and would love to see how it fits and how you have everything set up. Keep up the great videos!

It’s tight I won’t lie to you but ARB smaller size fridges might fit but not equivalent one to this. Please allow me to make it in next 3 weeks.
This is a great point I’ve looked for videos showing fitment in a wrangler and all I’ve ever found is someone throwing only the cooler in the cargo area. I want to know if I can get the fridge slide and cooler on one side so I still have the other side for other gear. Hopefully you made the video and I haven’t come across it yet. Maybe u can help me with the link if so.
@@jcito7062 Recently American Adventure Labs has released a few products that allow you to fit the 55im in while on a slider with the back seats up. They have a set up with a slide out table that fits under the fridge also. They are pricy, but their products are quality and their service is amazing. You might have to remove one of the handles if you add the table option, but it’s not hard to rig up a flatter handle out of para-cord.

Is the issue with plugging the fridge into the lighter only when your parked? Is it ok to plug the fridge into the cigarette lighter while you are driving and then use the solar batterie when your stopped?
Yes exactly. While driving your alternator will generate enough electricity even with your lights on your ok. When you stopped, unplugged the battery pack from car inlet and connect it to solar panel. As sun goes down plug it back to care even it’s off. Next morning start the car and you will be fine. I have a cheap battery and just had a trip to Mojave last weekend! no problem. Just start the car next day for 10 minutes. Thanks for watching
Why they can be a problem connecting this fridge at the back of the car on a cigger outlet while still the car battery will be charged by the alternator when the car is moving?
Usually the cigarette plugs are rated for less amperage than what fridge draws so after few hours (SOME) fridges shuts down. When you use a power storage like a 300watts battery pack it draws less amperage to keep it top off and fridge draws from battery pack cuz power pack has lithium batteries and it can last longer. I had occasional direct connection to back cigarette plug and about 4-5 hours later in a hot day it send a message to my phone that fridge shuts down to protect battery. However, at nights that it’s cooler and no one opens the the fridge door you MIGHT have it direct connected to car and it last. (I Did once)

Battery pack 250watts or 300watts with; SOLAR CONNECTION I am using rock pale 300 very happy . They had sale on thanksgivings 3 years ago 225$ 2 . Rockpal solar panel 100 watts comes with long cable . Can’t remember price . 3. If your rig does not have cigarette plug at trunk get one of those extended cables with ARB or Domestic both goes for 50$ and you MUST wire it direct to battery it comes with a fuse for protection. I’ll try to add a link in description when I get a chance probably by weekend.

To be honest if you don’t need controlled temperature just zip lock, ice and wrapped wet towels around food does better .
