You have the right amount of dialogue and sound effects with your cutscenes to where I can paint a picture of the gameplay. You've done a grand job here. Well done.
Thank you so much! I worked super hard researching and planning out the mission order and choices. The decision to put gameplay conversations in there too made it a much longer process but worth it in the end :)
The reason he declined Ariel's offer, was he tried to settle in Mar Sara, with his wife and son. When his son died during a Ghost Program transport accident, his wife died depressed. That's why.
Imagine being sealed in one of those suits.. that thing better have something keeping me from getting out.. soon as I’m lose I’m finding someone with a cutting torch to get me out.. gotta be able to scratch myself and bathe.
i remember watching all of these cinematics back when it just came out and thought it was crazy how realistic it was wihile the story and universe still holds, it sure is a bit more difficult to look at the graphics nowadays
This is gonna be a long comment so if you read this thank you. Im 16 as of the time of making this about to turn 17 and when i was younger (5-6) i started playing starcraft 2 for the first time. Ever since ive played it on occaison, played the campaigns every few years......... and seeing some of the cutscenes genuinely brings tears to my eyes. I stopped playing starcraft 2 as much entering highschool but ive picked up again playing the old campaigns and climbing the ladder. The campaigns of this game (mostly the first one the other two are decent but not the same for me.) will always be special to me. To me they are what halo 1-3 or starcraft 1 is to people a bit older to me. I dont plan on having kids ever but if i did id make them play this when im older. All this to say, thank you for making this this was great. PS: my boyfriend doesnt like RTS its a travesty am i right?
I feel exactly the same! I'm quite a bit older than you and I can attest that games like Halo, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Monkey Island and many others helped shape the person I am today. StarCraft II came at a very profound time in my life and my memories of playing it stick with me many years after the fact. I return to StarCraft II every few years to play through the campaigns again and I will certainly recommend the game to people of all ages. One of my reasons for making these game movies was to help preserve the story so that I didn't need to play through the game to feel those emotions again. I'm so glad you feel the same way and maybe you need to twist your boyfriends arm a little and get him to play! :D
Awe, I loved reading what you shared brother. I'm 38, first played SC at 14. I'm artistic, clerical and spatial. This game was injected into my veins. ... The powers that supposedly be think they can destroy the stories and memories that come with our glorious stories. The corporate and government duopoly is just like the dominion. Peace.
Yep, feel like this about SC 1. Yep, felt like that about having children too. I have 2, one adopted about your age. Nope, you can't "make them" play it, but you can share your loves and passions. Children are not just a legacy of blood, but also of spirit, but they are also their own person. Keep that in mind, when the time comes :) Build yourself first, body, mind and skills, and run the f away from any addictions. You got this, kiddo.
The color scheme of the animation, and not being afraid of offending anyone is one of the things that really makes this game work so well. I'm still not sure I understand the whole story. I don't need to cuz I still enjoy the game. And how can you say it is anything but great? The first really immersive game if you ask me.
@@cinemaforge-gamemoviescuts1500 i may borrow this to make a remix of it, my channel has examples of the videos i make if you want to check them before giving me permission. Your work putting this together saved me alot of time if you are down
Ah, Wings of Liberty campaign. It feels so old and so fresh at the same time, it's like 2010 was yesterday. Damn, time flies.
I couldn't agree more! I get such a dose of nostalgia from Starcraft II Wings of Liberty but it feels like I'm playing for the first time each time :)
2010?! WAIT WHAT?! omg I'm so fucking old xd
