Its not really a 'someone'
this is not a speedrun it is modified, if you have played Celeste you will know that at the end of the game it will give you two modes, the assistance and the variant that is the purple icon that appears at the end of the video. you can increase the speed of the game by 160% and also enable the Supersprint which is basically double jump, and to make it go through each obstacle without taking damage you can also enable invincibility.
More like 4 days and 42 hours

It's absolutely incredible to think that sub-5 Farewell is possible, with the only change being a funny, longer dash. Great work to everyone who contributed to this TAS!!!! Y'all are amazing

In case anyone is confused, superdash is not refering to a speedrunning technique, it is an option which modifies the dash (a kind of cheat/variant).
That's why you see the player curving their dash. This is just an alternate category of TAS.
(apologies if I'm completely wrong about anything/everything.)

Anyways Farewell always had a really impactfull opening, and seeing madeline just swoosh through all those screens alongside the rythm makes it hit even heavier

I thought that I would be able to comprehend what madeline was doing at 0.25x speed, but no, this is insane!

Idk but I Definitely think the time can be much lower thanks to the new skip which gives 2 dashes in the beginning
Madeline is going too fast to register spikes, so I doubt DTS/oil skip is going to do much
The set up may is impossible with super dash idk

honestly, idk if that would actually save time on the superdash tas. goth skip adds 135 frames at the beginning (bout 2 seconds) and the tas is going so fast already i’m not sure how much it would be able to save but idk

Most of the time it's not even demos. It's just that the first frame They're behind the spikes. The next frame They're infront of it.
