I really enjoyed Skansen. I guess it is something I do. Visited the outdoor museum in Oslo and Trondheim as well. Thank you for walking me around with snow on the ground.
Great walk! I have an extremely strong memory of sitting on one of those cannons and eating ice cream as a kid. Can we please fast forward a few months? 🥶
On my first trip to Sweden in 1982 with my mom who was born there, we went to Skansen. Don’t recall much but did buy a couple of small glass items at the factory/shop at 12:10. Also remember going into an older cottage where I had to duck to get inside as too tall at 6’-9”! Nice video! 👏
Yes. Skansen, ABBA The Museum, Library Stockholms Stadsbibliotek, etc. were all wonderful places! I like Gamrastan, too. And it's nice to hear the sound of your walking. So I was happy when I found your video. Thanks. 감사합니다. 😍💕👍
@@StockholmWalks Thank you so much for your channel. I have been watching your videos for sometime now. I actually went to Stockholm for 10 days. I like the city and your videos a lot. I am glad to see you have started allowing your viewers to add comments. Please continue with your videos and take care. Love from London.
@@StockholmWalks I watch your videos even before my sleep. Especially cozy Christmas time videos and I just wish I was there. Please continue making more videos. Thanks a lot.
Ahhhh, lots of "log cabins" to admire and enjoy, I feel much better now! But now I'm curious, the traditional Skane farmhouse at 0:10, makes me ask where in Skane, when it was built, and did they use bricks from the old Ahus brick factory?? Sad the Skansen website doesn't have such detailed information, yet. 👍🙏👋
A good opportunity to work on your Swedish… there doesn’t seem to be an English version… its from Hög on the west coast of Skåne: skansen.se/se-och-gora/friluftsmuseum/hus-och-gardar/skanegarden/
WOW! I'm contacting a Swedish friend, living for a long time in the United States and married to a friend of mine! She probably knows this place from childhood and will enjoy revisiting it through your channel.
Good chance she’s memories from here, specially if she’s from the Stockholm area. She can always check out my playlist section to see if I have videos from familiar places
Wow, thank you so much for this awesome tour of beautiful Skasen. P.S. A popular band member of First Aid Kit band was recently married at that church too. 😉
Loved seeing Skansen in winter, sure is more peaceful than during the summer! We brought our kids here when we visited in summer 2009. Doubtful they remember much unfortunately
That’s the problem with bringing small kids to “special” places, they’re usually not very impressed but then they find some cool junk in the ground on their way home and that’s what they remember from that outing 😂
1830 's house😮😮wonderful.....In the spring, you should go back and film again....I think the view here will be beautiful and amazing in the spring and summer. Have you Northern lights there?.....
Damn it, you just put me in a dilemma!I wanted to thank you for the recommendation of that amazing remastered video of Stockholm more than hundred years back, but now this! Can't write the same words twice, even though you deserve them!Do you take two kisses, one on each cheek?
Very beautifully captured. Its been quite a long time when i last visited this place. Thanks for sharing! By the way, what equipment's you use for recording these walk tours???

Nice video! 👏
Sounds like a very typical Skansen memory! How about trying to climb a gigant wooden horse?
Magnifico
Glad you liked it!
I'm watching your video well in Korea. I traveled to Sweden in 2018, and I remember that a lot. Thank you always.🤗

nice video - Skansen does look an interesting place to visit.
It is nice, no matter how many times I’ve been there I always find something I haven’t seen before
yes a unique and evolving place!@@StockholmWalks
The car ride is epic!
Ha ha, I thought only people who has at least a couple of generations of collective nostalgia for those would like the cars!
@@StockholmWalks I took several pictures. And focused in on the three ladies sculpture by the track in one. No idea why.

Northern lights are very rare in Stockholm. And if they come they are not as spectacular as up north. But spring at Skansen is nice indeed!
