Do you know what size that coupler was from the S&b intake elbow to the pipe ? Mine busted and I got in a hurry and ordered the wrong size. I assume it was factory size. But it’s not it seems like it’s a bit bigger

What tools did you use to get the 1/2 nuts tight? Wobble/extension?
The grid heater can sometimes fail and allow pieces to fall in the engine. I would remove it!
Exactly the Banks Monster-Ram eliminates the grid heater

A very small amount. The cold air intake and removal of the turbo ring made the biggest difference.

It’s like .2 inches bigger than stock but is intended for use with factor coupler

Just a no name performance muffler welded in, it was on the truck when I bought it. 2003’s did not have catalytic converters from the factory as well…
