Both speakers gave intelligent answers. Interesting views on technology; women in culture and a place for women in the military. Understanding there's a place for everyone, one's failures (I can relate to Cathy's), Miller pointed out the sacrifice many military families deal with, as his failure. Afghanistan didn't end the way many thought, veterans shouldn't feel they failed in anyway! There's alot of take aways from this ..listen and learn.
The knowledge this lady has is admazing... I believe her research is very interesting, I love her thoughts on education...

Cathie Wood is on target about now is the time to inspire the minds of our youths minds... They are our future... And need to be directed in the right way....

How many people would be interested in Miller writing a book about his experience in Afghanistan and his views on the withdrawal?
He has at least 2 to 3 books he could write and Lenna I'm sure you and I would love to read them
@Diana Bagford I think the man is an interesting speaker, but I would be interested in his final days in Afghanistan.

@Diana Bagford I enjoy military books. I'm studying to be a history teacher, and I think our youth need the truth, not what they see in movies.
I find Miller very knowledgeable on the topics he speaks on and isn't one to beat around the bush. I enjoyed listening to and reading his remarks from his conformation hearing.
I so glad you are going to teach our history.I have found that the more I read the less I know. I took a trip to the Patton Museum and to see his letters and be around his things . Made me see the real man he was . Not a book or the movie but a great man.Nice field trip for your students

@MAGAAA ULTRA-DELUX I thought about the possibility of Mr. Miller resigning after Afghanistan. I don't know how I could say this publicly, but some simple handshakes at the airport and a torrent of questions in Congress are not enough for the efforts made by Mr. General in Afghanistan. I would have resigned too, if I was in a similar position. Anyway, all respect for the 3 years in which Mr. Miller showed the Afghan people how to live in a free world.
