Moving scene from The Batman (2022) where Catwoman first saves Batman from the Riddler's henchmen, after which Batman saves her.
This scene was moving because it showed the heartfelt relationship the two had developed over the course of the film, truly caring about each other's well-being and being willing to sacrifice for one another. This is particularly moving given each of their backstories, both experiencing severe hardship and difficulty trusting others as a result.
The scene was also interesting in demonstrating Batman's preparation -- being prepared with the unspecified liquid with which he injected himself to overcome his temporary physical disability. Was this a liquid form of adrenaline or possibly Venom, the substance from the comics that Bane uses for enhanced strength?
Robert Pattinson finally does a movie where the romance works.
Not really, it felt really rushed because writers seem to forget batman and Catwoman is a slow burn story and aside from The scene at The club she is kinda irrelevant to the story.
@@javierlopez9789 The comic books have the luxury of time because they can count on a loyal fan base to read literally hundreds of issues over a span of decades. A screenwriter for a movie does not have that same luxury of time. After the second or third sequel, the story is already starting to fizzle in popularity. So, yeah, for practicality sake, development of the relationship is rushed. Trying to fit the whole development into a neat 2 hour package is not easy. It took a whole trilogy to make that work for Han Solo and Princess Leia.

I kind of like this version of catwoman better than The Dark Knight Rises, she seems to deeply care for Batman and shows concern for his safety unlike Anne Hathaway's version who would have just left him to die at the hands of Bane and let him sacrifice himself to save Gotham.

I dunno. I like both of them. Hathaway's version is very much Classic Catwoman who only grows a conscience at the very last minute, whereas this version is more in line with the Earth-One version. You know, the one who eventually married Bruce Wayne and sired The Huntress. Both are good takes IMHO.

If people like that, so be it.
I’m an adult and I just don’t find this interpretation of Batman intimidating, even slightly. Pattinson’s a good actor but he’s about as intimidating as a kitten. That’s why they have him over-selling the fighting. They have to take it there in order to sell it because his presence alone doesn’t cut it. He’s just not the right guy. Physically, he’s a toothpick and doesn’t know how to convincingly portray a physically imposing violent force of nature like Batman other than angrily thrashing around. It’s like the character has a chip on his shoulder.
I do wish I enjoyed it more. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with liking it. There are some good things in this film but overall it just falls flat for me. The atmosphere the film sets up is very alluring but then the preachy race baiting undercuts that.
It’s not just the arrogant lecturing delivered via the “stunning and brave” mayor character, annoying as it is. It’s the soul-crushing misery that drags this movie’s runtime out. The guy who played Riddler stole the show (sorry I know he’s white), Selina Kyle was good, penguin felt cartoonish and out of place compared to the other performances but that’s not Colin Farrell’s fault. He’s another miscast.
The Batman character’s been done so many times that audiences have these personalised expectations of who Batman is supposed to be. It just gets in the way of enjoying something totally new
This guys face should be caved in far more than just a broken nose. Like he should be dead. You know how many times he was punched in the face by a heightened Batman. Not to mention the force of those punches. That reveal was wack. But the romance scene between cat woman and Batman here was drop dead amazing. I did appreciate that.
Well different batman ig. He is generally more nerfed in this version but i like it more grounded ig
@@attilamert6973 i mean compared to bale pattinson is 100x better when it comes to combat/speed/rage/brutality and overall fight choreography so i wouldn't say nerfed but yes he's a young batman, obviously affleck is the most experienced but yeah

At first I thought Robert Patterson wasn’t a good choice for the role of batman but it turns out I was wrong, he did a great job on playing the character. If DC make a sequel then for that they should design a new mask
I never thought I would like this movie, it turned out to be really good. Excellent casting, excellent plot. 9/10 ratings in my opinion.
That Riddler goon who lost his kid saying "I'm vengeance" and Batman's reaction is the set-up to the emotional gut punch that is the ending, and yet this is one of the only uploads I can find of this scene. Everything else cuts around it

There’s a theory that the green drug he injected himself with could be Bane’s venom. There was a time in the comics when Batman actually did use Venom before Bane to help protect the people of Gotham.

1. Catwoman loves to be on top of the situation ... And Batman. Nice.
2. The green serum Batman injectd into his leg makes think on Bane's Venom Serum.

It said in the Batman art book that the green liquid was adrenaline, not venom. But that doesn’t mean it can’t still be some sort of venom prototype

I love this movie so much
