The lyric in the chorus is "There beneath the blue suburban skies" not the word wet. I know the online lyrics say wet but they're wrong, otherwise you did an absolutely fantastic job!
That is the first time I've heard about the song having 'wet' in the chorus! I have always alternated between 'there' and 'well' when performing it over the years - the 'well' is what I was using in this video. Great cover. I loved it. How did Paul write such magic? And then the composition, the arrangements, the horn solo.... I guess credit goes to George Martin as well as any hired backup musicians but my lord Paul was able to write songs like this and countless others as magical. It's so unfair lol. But we all get to enjoy them even 1/2 a century or more later so all good. A song about a mundane street in anytown he made seem magical and somewhere we want to be even if we don't. That is great writing. That is poetry. Sorry if I rambled.
