Thanks for showing how your tummy looks when not breathing in and saying that you can't be bothered. Because thats just normal and the case for most mums. I just love you lily! ❤ Your content is so special ❤❤❤
This video (and a lot of your work) should be shown to other influencers as a masterclass in authenticity. I watch a lot of people speaking about real life content, authenticity, being genuine with their audience but it still feels so far away from my life. But even if I don’t have kids, a house in London or appointments with a c section specialist I still enjoy the realness of your work.
Watching this video is so therapeutic, it touched several aspects of my life as a working 37 years old mum with 2 kids and similar interests, aspirations, emotions and day to day life challenges . Love your content lily
The intimacy of the massage will cause repressed feelings to begin to emerge. Not surprised you felt a bit weird. Great to hear you advocate for women’s health
On the topic, I was shocked to learn that post COVID in Wales, you have to book yourself in for a six week check up. Women seem to be forgotten about post pregnancy, which I had heard about but is upsetting when it happens to you!
Lily🥹❤️how warm and cozy to watch content creators who are relatable honest and authentic like you are. You are my favorite person online for this reason and especially todays vlog is even more relatable. Thank you for keep being true and honest and authentic to us and you are not putting on a show. No one wants to see a show, what you are doing goes much deeper, you are amazing💖
I love how real you are. This feeling of being overwhelmed is something that makes me feel like I am out of order. So have to remind myself to calm down, write down things so I can see what I have to do and to prioritise the things.
Wonderful vlog Lily. I think part of the problem (and it is a huge problem that this is only a small part of) is that most of our primary care providers e.g. GP, consultant, midwife etc. don't actually know all that much about scar massage and healing - or indeed women's health in general. I asked my consultant about scar massage before I went in for my caesarian and she laughed at me. I'm in the process of building a business that will solve this issue of zero expert maternal healthcare available as standard. Really grateful to you for talking about this on here.
I love how you always keep it real, Lily. I have been feeling quite down as well. I struggle with depression, and anxiety. These past few weeks, I have felt I have been tested. All my business accounts have been hacked, which has been really frustrating, and heartbreaking. Thank you for continuing to show me it gets better. I love your vlogs. Sending you love from Toronto, Canada. ❤
So interesting hearing you talk about c section scars. I could rant on and on about the lack of care in the NHS for mums. If I could have our baby again, I wouldn't let them induce me for a start. I was in early labour anyway and they wanted to speed me up but there wasn't a medical reason, I just think think the NHS want mothers in and out as fast as possible. Induction failed, baby got stressed out from the artificial hormones and I had to have a c section to keep him safe. My 6 week check was very brief as well and I was really struggling with mental health at the time which was barely even discussed x
Hardest thing to do when feeling low is to accept it, stay with the emotion and instead of distraction, just do nothing. The brain needs time to take a break from "doing" but I know it's super hard. Mindfulness/meditation can really help but not if used as another "to-do". And at the same time, you do what you can, it's good enough 🤗 Thanks for the chat about the C-section scarring. I've forwarded the link to this video to a friend who's had a C-section, I hope it will help her :)
Lily you amazing woman you … know this .. most of us are overwhelmed in our own lives - with the relentless pace of social media postings ( within your industry and others) - I actually appreciate when you and others take a break. It not only helps you but potential helps others as we can’t keep up with it all. So ! No apologies … you do you ! We aren’t going anywhere … we’ll take whatever …. Whenever X❤
Hi Lily, We have a similar tradition that our kids can choose a new ornament every year. I always take a picture of them with the newly added ones, print it, write the year down and put the picture in the box. When they turn 18, each of them will be giftet their own box.
That was a great vlog. I love the real highs and low. Its a very comforting reassurance of normal life. I love how genuine all your interactions are. Hope you are having a better week this week!
Loving your videos so much Lilly, super relaxed and relatable and always just so cosy to watch. I’m going to look in to the caesarean massage also, after my 1st Caesarean It was fine and healed and I was happy with my body but having had a 2nd caesarean I can deffo feel a tight band of scar tissue. Even being a midwife post caesarean recovery is just not spoken about I really don’t think there is enough training but like you say post birth women’s health really gets forgotten about. ❤
I got my 3 year son a little bag with a battery operated hair dryer, brush and velcro rollers and he loved it for so long! The animated version of Room on the Broom takes me right back to that special time ❤
I’m loving paint by numbers. It really calms me down and takes me away from screens. My advice as a mum in her fifties - don’t try to be perfect/superwoman. And give yourself time to relax 😊
Always good to see Keisha. I loved the lipstick on you and I was wondering what foundation and bronzer you were wearing? The leopard "throne" is a little girl's delight. Grandma will be her hero! LOL
So interesting about the c-section scar info, though my first c-sect was 27 years ago & my second was 23 years ago it's definitely something I will look into, I can totally relate to the puffiness, the overhang (I look like I have been attacked by a shark) I have noticed it's been more painful, still numb also. I think the one thing that people may not know; my endometriosis was caused by my sections? Something to do with the adhesions.
I started knitting about a year and a half ago, and I totally recommend it! It has really helped me stop scrolling on social media all the time, and it’s something you can do even if you just have a few minutes. I also have two kids they love to watch me knit 😊
Firstly, look into HR +++ glass for your sash window. You can have it inserted into your current window frame - we had this as we have a monument and have to keep the original windows but the single glass was very drafy. Love the honesty around the c section scar, thanks for keeping it so real. Feels refreshing to see. Also talking about your phone addicition. I think pretty much everyone is suffering!
Love the vlog Lily - always appreciate when you keep it real ❤️ Also - for the jewellery storage - maybe you could even use pretty push pins (like the ones people use on cork boards) for the necklaces to keep them in place?
Seeing you with Keisha, made me miss my own long distance BFF but in a good way. If you started doing walking (food) tours of London, I think you'd have a big audience. Ordering crumble from an ipad...mind blown. :) xx
My family Christmas tree growing up which I have now taken on as an adult with my own family is we buy Christmas decorations on our travels… so none of it matches but it’s so lovely to decorate each year as we can talk about the memories from each holiday. So often gift shops in different locations sell Xmas decorations outside of Xmas.
If your Christmas Tree is getting crowded - maybe a small tree in Grey’s room with her ornaments and multicoloured lights would be cute. The very first purchase my daughter made with her debit card at 13 was a Xmas tree ❤ x
I found I was pending far too much time on my phone/iPad and I could feel it behind my eyes hurting. I started reading again, it’s definitely filled a bit gap in my life (my kids have moved out/uni) it has reduced my phone time a decent amount and I don’t feel the strange feel behind my eyes xx
You have adhd brain, exactly what it's like for me. I am going to look into that scar tissue massage, thank u, I had no idea about any of this and my son is nearly 15. Also that whistles dress was stunning on u. Who cares about the little belly, you looked incredible in it.
I had 3 csections, last one 9 years ago. Did she say if scar tissue can cause back pain and weeing more often especially at night? This is what I’m experiencing and blaming it on scar tissue.
Axel Scheffler who is Julia Donaldsons illustrator (so the guy who actually brings the characters to life!) is actually one of my regular customers at the store i work in. He is such a lovely guy. He gifted me a load of The Snail and The Whale bits for my 4 year old nephew 🥲
The way my brain works sounds exactly like yours and I’ve recently started to think I might have perfectionism… I never thought that could be the case because my life is SO far from perfect but all the traits describe me exactly. I also got a cleaner recently and as a teacher and mum of a 13 month old it has been money very well spent
I wonder what it would be like if you put some sort of magnet under the velvet sticky things so that the jewelry doesn't moved around? I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. Just curious.
Bit random but have you ever used a priority matrix when helping manage tasks? I am very prone to overwhelm and used to use one a lot when I was a teacher 👍
Lily healthcare gets about £120 a year for everything a patient might need. Thats ridiculous. This is why these great things are not available. The nhs is broken! I saw a pain specialist podiatrist who did some scar massage which really helped.
Do you guys always wash your toddler's clothes before you put it on them? I know you definitely should when they are babies but just wondering about toddlers.
The leopard kids chair throws me back to when we did my daughter's bedroom Everything: PINK But 1 shade of pink in different tones , her walls were bubblegum pink with a white veil over it, her thrown was bubblegum pink with silver (were yours is gold), bedlinnen bubblegum pink a offwhite (fake) 🐑 carpet & offwhite curtains & a silver chandelier. I used pops of colors ( green, yellow, .. pillows) to create a sofa/bed bc her bed was placed against the wall She only knew the color of the walls and the rest was a complete surprise. So when she came sleepover her first weekend She was 4y almost 5 back then 🤗👐🏻 she will be 19 next year 🥵😱🥲🤧😭🤧 dammmmm it time flies & yet it all still feels like yesterday. Not only what I'm sharing from her room but even when i was going into labor feels like yesterday.... so weird yet at the same time it not bc it is not 1 but the biggest life changing experience. I forget so many things over the years but that? Nope I remember everything, literally everything from that day. 🩷 main 💓 pops 🤍🐑🤍 for balancing 🍀💛💜🍀🩵to create a extra zone during the day Hope your off/down feeling is better or better yet away? Have a lovely Sunday Lilly & Pebbles family and everyone else who reads this 👐🏻🤗 ✌🏻🍂
Keepin it real Lily. That’s why I love you. You’ve always felt like the most authentic and relatable person I watch on TH-cam ❤

Thank you for uploading this when your not feeling 100% it makes us all feel more normal. ❤

Wow thanks for the chat bout C section scars and over hang. It’s wild that no one ever mentions the why the overhang happens and what we can do.
On the topic, I was shocked to learn that post COVID in Wales, you have to book yourself in for a six week check up. Women seem to be forgotten about post pregnancy, which I had heard about but is upsetting when it happens to you!

This vlog is PERFECT. Completely real & relatable. The reason we all follow and love you Lily! ❤
I love how real you are. This feeling of being overwhelmed is something that makes me feel like I am out of order. So have to remind myself to calm down, write down things so I can see what I have to do and to prioritise the things.
I find you so comforting, Lily. There are some channels, that even though they have become parents too, I just can't relate anymore
Ive also had a depressing week. The news doesnt help and this weather and the dark is depressing. Hope you feel better soon

Nice!!

One of the most relatable vlogs. I feel the exact same way with life admin and overwhelm and I also get so pathetic about the tiniest things 😂💯
Authentic, relatable and comforting 💐💐💐 Thank you!
Have a lovely week Lily and hope you have a great day celebrating Rudy ☺️

I was also overwhelmed this week which resulted in me having a panic attack. It’s funny that we both had similar experiences 😳
I always liked your videos and watched them along with all the other ogs but now I loveee them and relate so much always! ❤
Thank you for being Normal Human being ❤
Enjoyed this, thanks for sharing the c section talk , I will be looking into it ❤
Thank you for sharing the realness 🩷 You could try push pins in your jewellery drawer ☺️
The Lipstick looks absolutely beautiful on you ❤
Loved this Lily! Can you take me around London please 😂 it looks so wholesome. I enjoy seeing you explore xx
I don’t often comment but I’m really enjoying your content at the moment. I know you’re busy at the mo but it’s paying off x
Lily keeping it real since... always!
Loving it!
Hugs!
Hi Lily,
Loving your new style! What size is your Hush Denim Shirt? I have read reviews that although oversized, it does cone up huge! Xx
Love your honest vlogs. Keep them coming , you are doing a great job.
Love the vlog Lily - always appreciate when you keep it real ❤️ Also - for the jewellery storage - maybe you could even use pretty push pins (like the ones people use on cork boards) for the necklaces to keep them in place?

So so so lovely to see your gorgeous Mum
Keeping it real as always and vocalising what a lot of people are feeling. ❤ x
You look stunning with the dark outfit and red lip 🔥😍 really love your vlogs, thank you.
So excited for another Color analysis! 🤩
If your Christmas Tree is getting crowded - maybe a small tree in Grey’s room with her ornaments and multicoloured lights would be cute. The very first purchase my daughter made with her debit card at 13 was a Xmas tree ❤ x
That’s hilarious! Grey is a rapper! ❤😂 Sort of thing my girl liked when she was that age x
Love that you filmed your Mum.
Yay! Love this upload time!
This felt like such a nostalgic vlog! Loved it ❤️
loved this vlog so much! have recently started watching your videos and appreciate everything about your channel 🤎
Woke up at a strange hour in the states and guess who made my day 😂❤
I'm so grateful for your content ❤

Lovely vlog. Lilly for you...❤ 😊
Loved this!!❤
Bit random but have you ever used a priority matrix when helping manage tasks? I am very prone to overwhelm and used to use one a lot when I was a teacher 👍
Love Jo Malone ❤ Bet they smell amazing x
Sostrene Grene is great for affordable craft bits for kids and also lovely toys for little ones.
Just came to the comments to say I thought the Whistles dress looked stunning.

I’m guessing it’s Lydia Millen on the next foggy mornings!
