Erika was a great player. She began slow the game but the speed increased and she was a very good social player who could communicate in a very effective way. She was able to work with different players. Just because her moves weren't flashy doesn’t take away her great game play.
Erika orchestrated the split vote that got Shan out and was still able to fly under the radar and not be seen as a threat. What is also impressive is how she worked together with DeShawn and then enlisted Danny to pull off that vote (considering both of them had been trying to vote out Erika since before the merge). Even the viewers that believe Xander deserved the win don't see how Erika was a threat all along.

Erika didn't have a flashy game compared to Shan, Evvie and yes, even the very hated Deshawn..she was under the radar. She made subtle, small moves and at times I felt she was underestimated. Deshawn and Danny were 2 players that were able to see how dangerous she really was that's why they always were targeting her. However, breaking the hourglass is what cemented the start of her climb to victory. For people who said she didn't do anything....she was responsible for Sydney's elimination, Erika was the one that suggested Shan's elimination which Ricard set into motion. (So she's responsible for Shan's indirectly)...proof her great social game...she got Deshawn (her arch enemy by all accounts especially by the end of season) and Danny. The two people gunning for her all the time. To work with her to make the vote split in her favor. So she was able to save herself and Liana would have went home if Shan did play her idol. (That is impressive). She in a way helped further cripple the all black alliance by being the deciding vote on getting rid of Liana. (Also Shan's elimination got Liana alienating her from Deshawn and Danny too. Due to getting them to work with her alliance.) She did stuff but Erika wasn't a big focus. Deshawn to me is still what baffles me...still don't get how he got even a vote by the jury. His gameplay was just horrible by the merge. Danny I think voted for him since they worked together and he's like one person he never really backstabbed.
thats her thing and she is aware and used it. they kept underestimating her. only shan saw it coming and desperately tried to get her out and guess what erika shadowed and manipulated others behind the dark and got her out.
The fact that she convinced Danny and Deshawn to split the votes between Shan and Liana instead of Shan and herself is honestly one of the most impressive moves in a newbie season.
@@4Tom4lepus4 Especially since both of them wanted her out and Deshawn was growing to be her arch enemy. So she was able to convince her arch enemy to side with her to split the votes. Helps that they disliked Shan more at that point.
@@SashGirl34 Yeah, exactly! They didn't have a major issue with Liana and wanted to continue working with her... so the fact that she convinced them to sacrifice Liana, a potential ally, because she, Erika, whom they saw as a huge threat, asked them to is wild to me!
The edit must’ve been unfair because way too many players feared Erika for like a good bulk of the season and until the end it wasn’t really clear why lol. Watching the show it was a constant “Why are ya’ll so worried about freaking Erika?”
its because they were trying to "hide" her to make it "unpredictable" which is so stupid. Heather called CBS and they told her since she never had any advantages she couldn't be shown over ppl like Brad who was useless but had idols and shit. This season is probably the worst edit ever because they hid Erika so much for no reason
As well everyone was like yah Heather could never win but if Erika went out at final 4 Heather wins and it’s the same vote. They heavily under edited the two girl and it was so unfair
@@Dylanssss he didnt say heather would win he said HE would vote for her lol. Tiffany said she would have voted for xander, naseer said he would vote deshawn... etc. its hard to say who would win because it depends on who can take out erika and also how the finals goes because those 3 were all pretty weak to the jury. erika was just super strong gameplay wise, not because she was a woman.
It is a shame that the final edit focused so heavily on Shan and Ricardo's friendship and the Final Four Black alliance. I would have preferred if they had included more scenes about Heather and Erika's friendship so we can get a bit more narrative about the actual winner of the season.
I didn’t even know that duo existed until midway through the season. Go watch real survivor, how about Sarah and Tony, Wendell and Dominique, Boston Rob and Amber? Etc.
I subscribe to your channel and I hope you have more best of I’m surprise you started off with this one Erica not interested in her at all too many other better people to show
Erika's comment about Deshawn being more likely to win (and likable) than Danny was a poor read. It's true that Deshawn appears to be leading the moves, but his moves were burning two jury votes by backstabbing his own alliance and acting like a cry baby about it. Danny was the more likable of the two and the more likely to win. It was the right move but for the wrong reasons. Ricard wanted Deshawn out because he was targeting him and Danny is more of a meat shield.
Looking back at this season Erika actually played a pretty good game, one I would honestly say is better than Ricards (controversial). Its just sad that most of jury voted for Erika most likely just because she was a woman and not because she actually did play a pretty dominant game from when she was at the bottom, from when she was at the top. I mainly say they mostly voted her because she is a woman is because there was a rumor that if Heather made it to final three with Xander and Deshawn that Heather would’ve won……… I love Heather but she didn’t play a better game than Deshawn or Xander and the fact that jury was likely to give her the win just because she was a woman is so sad But still, Erika played a pretty great 2nd half game and I would say she played the 2nd best game this season behind Shan she didn’t rely on the color of her skin (black alliance) or the nature of her gender (yasa female alliance) to put her in a good spot. (btw I don’t have a problem with using these alliances but it is a huge advantage that she didn’t have to take advantage of) Would really like to see her return on a season where there isn’t so many stupid twists to see how she would play.
That rumor is only because Ricard said he would have voted for Heather because he respected her game. No one else backed that up and people like Tiffany said that there was no way Heather gets her vote. Erika won because the jury respected her game. If it’s Heather, Xander, and Deshawn at the end, there’s no way of knowing who wins. Though for the jury, that combination is like the worst case scenario.
nope! they all voted for Erika because she was the best player, that rumor of heather only came from ONE person (Ricard) meanwhile Tiffany, Shan and Liana said they would never vote for Heather. Heather was unlikely to win however Deshawn and Xander were also very weak so it would be a toss up, just clearing that up for you. Erika was the best player because she had the most patience and balance
Pretty weak win when stacked up against the greats but she didn’t have any fatal errors she just didn’t make as many big moves as fans are used to seeing from a winner

Due to getting them to work with her alliance.)
She did stuff but Erika wasn't a big focus.
@@timpi845 Some people don't see how she won or get why she did deserve to win so I was explaining it to them.
@@Dylanssss who said heather would win? i heard it would be a toss up between her and deshawn and xander
@@bellasmith2444 Ricard
@@Dylanssss he didnt say heather would win he said HE would vote for her lol. Tiffany said she would have voted for xander, naseer said he would vote deshawn... etc. its hard to say who would win because it depends on who can take out erika and also how the finals goes because those 3 were all pretty weak to the jury. erika was just super strong gameplay wise, not because she was a woman.
Queen winnERIKA ❤
shes so cute
Release the Hearika edit
It is a shame that the final edit focused so heavily on Shan and Ricardo's friendship and the Final Four Black alliance. I would have preferred if they had included more scenes about Heather and Erika's friendship so we can get a bit more narrative about the actual winner of the season.
I know this is about Erika, but man I love Heather too she plays a vital role for her win.
a filipina survivor winner? ok represent
Does Erika have eyeliner tattoo? It doesn't go away even when she is crying.
longer video than I thought
Erika misted Xander hahaha
12:20 Turns out it would be her
Name a better duo than Erika and Heather ill will be waiting :)
I didn’t even know that duo existed until midway through the season. Go watch real survivor, how about Sarah and Tony, Wendell and Dominique, Boston Rob and Amber? Etc.

erika was in the top 3 best players in this season
@Kristian Yeager replace deshawn with shan or ricard and id agree
I still remember how Shan was so eager to help anybody in her ally to win the game but Deshawn blew it.
For those bitters in the comments. imma remind ya that the jury literally got jealous and wished they played the same way as her and that says a lot.
"people are gonna talk about this for a long time" of was she right lmao
can you add WINNERS POV In the title
She is like Kristy of Survivor Australia season 3 except that she has a more exciting personality.
Kristy is my favorite survivor to win

Yah but clearly she realized that when she kept deshawn over Danny
I love Erika. I think I would’ve voted DeShawn to win but Erika is a very close second.
He will never forgive himself for taking Erica
Sandra: " Im the most useless passive player"
Erika: " Hold my beer"
Who?
Erika can't change system of SURVIVOR
You go home
Looking back at this season Erika actually played a pretty good game, one I would honestly say is better than Ricards (controversial).
Its just sad that most of jury voted for Erika most likely just because she was a woman and not because she actually did play a pretty dominant game from when she was at the bottom, from when she was at the top.
I mainly say they mostly voted her because she is a woman is because there was a rumor that if Heather made it to final three with Xander and Deshawn that Heather would’ve won………
I love Heather but she didn’t play a better game than Deshawn or Xander and the fact that jury was likely to give her the win just because she was a woman is so sad
But still, Erika played a pretty great 2nd half game and I would say she played the 2nd best game this season behind Shan she didn’t rely on the color of her skin (black alliance) or the nature of her gender (yasa female alliance) to put her in a good spot.
@@b.k.9797 Erika played the best game of the season
More like "All of erika" lol
What do you want, more of you??? Lmao.
Pretty weak win when stacked up against the greats but she didn’t have any fatal errors she just didn’t make as many big moves as fans are used to seeing from a winner
At least she didn't use wokeness among the other finalists to receive votes from the jury
Not even close. The worst survivor of all time.
The jury voted for her though… are you a jury? No.
@@RyanCaravana your comment makes no sense. This series of survivor was the worst of all time.

@@ShaneMichealCupp YOURE CRAZY LMAOOOOO Xander had no influence on any votes and his little “big move” wasn’t even his, it was Tiffany and envie who created that plan.
