We have 2 bz4x in our businessfleet in the Netherlands. It had three over the air updates. It is given the small battery pack a good bev, good range. In winter 325km, in summer 425km. It is efficiënt, quiet and well build. It is the 2nd best selling car in nr 1 ev market Norway and sakes are picking up in the Netherlands as well. Don't forget, it is the only bev around with a 10 years warranty on batteries...
    At least in the Netherlands.

Norway has the same battery warranty on the bz4x. One of the main reasons I'm taking delivery of one in May :)

@@dozern one of the very few bev's with resale value as occasion, if not the only one. It is a very nice car to drive, suc6, good choice!

    What's a Toyoter?

The biggest issue with this car and its Subaru Soltera twin, is the smaller battery size and abysmal charging speeds. I hear that for 2024 that Toyota and Subaru have fixed the charging speeds. It would have been nice to include those details like the charging speed curve. How long did it take you to fast charge on a longer trip from 20-80%. After all, if you are going to just stay in the city there are much better options. The USP of this vehicle is its ground clearance, so how does it perform in light off roading?

Why is charging speed an issue???? Toyota is not the fastest in charging but with a reason....the only bev around with a serious warranty and only 30% degradation after 10 years, according to Toyota. You can charge at home, office etc. Charging is no issue at all only in the mindset.

@@avdp9095 because it makes it very inconvenient to charge on longer trips. As such, it makes that much harder to justify as a replacement for ice. I have spoken to several owners and they all complain about the short range and slow charging speeds. Also, most BEVs will last just as long.

@@davetravels9273 general problem for bev's not specific for bz4x...

@@avdp9095 no. As a current Ev owner, on my second Tesla, and who drives 20k+ miles a year, I generally only need to charge for 10-20 minutes. Not so in these.

BYD Seal Premium is priced 17% less than BZ4X where I live with 650 km range with faster charging and Blade battery. It's a no brainer

Yes all true, but the Seal is a smaller sedan whereas the BZ4X is actually a little larger than a RAV4 SUV and a little more practical. It depends what you want. Thanks for watching.

@@4wheelsandaseat Model Y LR is 3% less in price than BZ4X in HK with longer range and way faster charging and more charging stations. It's a no brainer and it's not even close.

Love the review, but can you lower or remove the terrible and repetitive background music. Really distracted, almost painful.

And as I said, I don’t quite understand why. Apart from being overpriced it’s pretty good.
