- The investigation into a Maryland federal prosecutor's killing remains unsolved decades after his death. The last time Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Luna was in Baltimore was late at night at the federal courthouse on Lombard Street in 2003. Two decades later, there are no arrests, no motive and no closure. A husband, father and federal prosecutor, Luna was a 38-year-old with a promising future. But his life was cut short. He was found dead on Dec. 4, 2003. Authorities said Luna suffered at least 36 stab wounds and the coroner declared his death a homicide.
