I can tell that he put a lot of research into this, because although AMerican cities do usually have very a consistent grid system, as you get farther out from the center of the city, the grid starts to break up and it is less consistent, like he did in here. Well done Imperatur, keep up the great work!
You have a talent for effortlessly creating wonderful and inspiring cities! I appreciated the ball fields at the end of the runway - my former team played several times on a diamond just about as close to a military base. Thanks for bringing back those fond memories of mine!
Sweet build as per usual Imperatur. The new MrMaison flora really stand out; absolutely love them, especially as a console player, which also answers the question about copy-paste I guess...
Nice work with your airport build, it looks really good! In your presentation, building in Cities Skylines looks so fun and easy. :) How about placing a series of lights in front of the runways, the so-called ALS (Approach Light System). Your airport would look even more realistic and super cool!
I feel like the cims walking around such neighborhoods must be thinking... I've been here before... haven't I? Meanwhile, the cims working at the university have recently come upon a groundbreaking revelation that they are probably living in a simulation and promptly commit suicide, sparking a death wave. The player goes, "aww crap, lemme build some quick crematoriums..."
11:26 nah, but I really should start, I thought it would make things look repetative/redundant, but I think if you use it just enough, and not too much, you can probably strike a pretty good balance, which I can see you do pretty good, once again, well done!
Ich dachte ja erst, als du das Straßenlayout gebaut hast, dass kann doch nicht schön aussehen...so komisch "möchte gern symmetrisch" ...aber jetzt wo alles fertig ist, sieht das echt nice aus😁👍🏻
Awesome build! I love how you put the water running through the neighborhood! Really makes it unique. I don't normally copy to much in my builds but I have recently started and it can really save a lot of time.
Did you just make the Pavement of the Parking lot @ 6:30 Black & Intersection Marking Tool to get rid of the sidewalks? Love the video's as always! Always waiting on that notification from Imperatur!
My main problem with my urban Sprawl project was running out of nodes, and hitting object limits, and other things whilst barely cracking 200k people. The game simply cannot handle any kind of realistic metro area like LA or Phoenix. It's very much designed for much fewer High capacity Buildings than a ton of single family dwellings. I didn't copy paste I zoned it in, mostly 3x2's with dirt alleys separating the backyards (pretty common out here).
Amazing work as always and I have a question. There is a mod which uses to remove trees or props from the buildings. If you know the mod's name please can you tell me?
Yes I do, more often than I realized. As per the suburb, did you use the suburban road pack? Also, speaking of roads, I see Network Extentions roads, which version of the mod are you using? I know NEXT2 is still broken and there is some bickering on the workshop on the next iteration or continued usage of NEXT2/3.
@@imperatur I see, then the only mod I have to replace is LSM to the temporary one. 😂 I’ve been quite afraid of corrupting my city save due to mod incompatibility.
It's happens, there's residential flats near the airport in my city and more are being built, also look at Heathrow and Gatwick airports, they both have villages next to the airports
I live in the suburbs about a mile right now from an international airport, and while there definitely is some noise pollution in the background from take-offs it isn’t too bad.
Cities skylines, a game with many tools to create the best possible urban environments. A chance to play god and build the ultimate living conditions. This guy uses it to build the most depressing form of spacial planning the world has ever seen.
Seems like it’s pretty efficient to me. Normal block lengths for walkability, grid design for maximum space efficiency, no above average lot sizes and city services serving that area.
I’m guessing it’s a mod, unless this is a utopia where no crime is committed and all disease has been cured, but considering urban sprawl still exists I think it’s a pretty bad future

Could easily be a pre-war suburb, those always had grids
@@romanrat5613 yeah
@@NJHProductions512 although in that case, it would add extra realism to have alleyways behind the houses for garages/trash collection

You do such a good job making this relaxing, I almost fall asleep when watching it!
Haha is this good or bad😂
@@imperatur i think he meant it good lol
seeing all that urban sprawl makes the city planner in me cry. Great video though!
Your tree detailing especially around canals are satisfying
Imperatur tutorials are the most useful things ever!
Yes!
😊❤️
Amazing work there, Imperatur! It reminds me of the residential neighborhoods next to actual heavily used airports in Soutb Florida!

Well, copy&paste isn't available in Vanilla, but it's clear how much time it saves you!
14:55 cant wait for a homerun right into a jet engine xD
you take so much time into handcrafting every inch of space, i just zone and place down services with some things that i actually do myself

Yeah it saves a ton of time and for suburbs it‘s definitely a good way to go:)
In an area like Florida those water things are a safety feature for flooding. Those safety touches really make the city feel unique
@@imperatur I'll have to try that out! Thanks for the tip! : )

Hey here's a good idea, you should make an Asian city like Tokyo, Beijing or Bangkok.
The inspiration is unreal!
That’s really cool
Love the layout of the streets and beautification!!
You never disapoint, keep it up
Nice video!
Thanks!
great! as always
Awsome
At the area next to it toward the ocean you should add canals with concrete barriers like they do in florida
Yess
Am I the only one that thinks sprawl looks awesome from above, take La for example
Yes😍😍
Great Build!
Thanks!
11:16 Nah, no copy and paste for me
Sense this is a Florida inspired series. I would like to see a launch site like the Kennedy Space Center

I‘m glad to hear that!:)
the fence you placed 11:55 in the video is going across the walkway think you need to fix that

Can u make more building,cause it looks great,nice vid👍❤️
Amazing work as always and I have a question. There is a mod which uses to remove trees or props from the buildings. If you know the mod's name please can you tell me?
The name of the mod is: BOB
At least I _think_ that's probably what you're looking for.
It's called Prop it Up. But it has its issues, causes major lag for me
@@Dirty.H same, a lot of mods cause lag for me. Do you have any issues with Fine Road Tool and Road Anarchy?
@Dirty H the taxiways of the new airport dlc cause major laggs bro! I replaced them with normal taxiways and my game is running smooth again:)
@@imperatur Really? Wow, cheers big bro!
Impressive!
Building urban sprawl without mods can be one pain in the you know what.
Imperatur does a better job at making copy-paste housing than most suburban developers.
👌Nice
Thanks!
Imagine hitting a home run when a plane passes by and the ball hits the glasses...😱
Lol😂😂
hii everybody, hi imperatur
Hey
Ahhh, Imperatur yet again building wonders, while I think my suburban builds actually bring DOWN the land value.... 😅
@imperatur #imperatur How many hours you spend in Cities: Skylines?
3200+ :)
@@imperatur Wow for months playing non-stop maybe I well have that many hours as you have 😂
A suburb, right next to an ACTIVE international airport. Hopefully each homeowner got an earplug as a gift.
😂👍🏻
Damn, watching your video make me want to added more and more workshop item to my cs 😞
Wouldn't it be better if you used car parkings that are actually working not just the ones ur using for design
This time i used parking lot roads which are functional:)
Great video and beautiful build, but god do I hate the royalty free music.

what is the mod called that you use to resize assets
