    You sound so much wiser than you were before. When my ex-husband left me for his supervisor, I remember that my friends thought I should stay single for years . . . but I never would have met my current husband of 13 years who is absolutely wonderful. Sometimes waiting is good but when you move forward with fresh eyes, eyes wide open, committed to not ignore the red flags, it can turn out beautiful. Move forward with eyes WIDE open, knowing you have all the potential in the world.

      Yes absolutely! My ex of 6 years ghosted me right after I got us a house together. I felt like I’d never date again. I was so scared of starting all over and “what if I never find someone as good as him” lmao how naive was I. After so long I started Tinder with interest in just dating and I met the most amazing caring understanding loving man I’ve ever met in my whole life. We are literally a perfect match and in the healthiest relationship I’ve not only been in but seen anyone in in my life. Now I can’t STAND when I see people in abusive and toxic relationships cause liek NOOO THERES SOMEONE OUT THERE FOR YOU PLSSSS. It’s crazy how we get so entangled with someone they can treat us so bad and we don’t even want to leave. Sometimes the best things these guys ever did for us was end it however they did cause we end up better off and they end up losing the best person they ever had.

      Someone I care abt just a crush but I genuinely cared about him ghosted and banned me from his twitch stream im glad I got closure from this situation but I keep learning the hard way sometimes life is deadset on keeping two ppl away from each other it hurts like helll but he brought up in me allll my childhood wounds it was unbearable
      I cared abt him for many years actually im 29 tho so im still young but I know deep down that I have to move on from him even though I e never wanted to I got attached to him bc he made me aware of my intuition which I'd say I've always been in tune w just not consciously but really it was me all along that taught me my lessons not him I shouldn't just say he inspired me altho he did but he didn't go out of his way to share the knowledge I knew amd found it on my own

    You have grown so much since you started TH-cam and specifically since you started Life Plus Cindy. It is an honor to see your growth over these few years. The woman you are now compared to even a year ago is so much more evolved. You are stronger, wiser, happier and healthier! TH-cam has had it's ups and downs for you, just as it has for many content creators on here. You have adapted, learned, grown and challenged yourself which is so amazing to see. A Q&A video is a big step for your channel and is something quite personal to us viewers to be able to ask questions that may be a bit personal or intense, but you are sitting down and talking us through things and keeping a level head. You are so inspiring to me and many others I'm sure. Always so proud of you Cindy. Keep on keeping on and most importantly, KEEP BEING YOU!

    So, I literally just started this and the bpd question at the start feels hella ableist to me. I know bpd is a lot & can do a lot of damage, but the way I see it is as long as the person you are dating is somewhat aware and you are making an effort to work through it. I don't think it should stop anyone from living so to speak.

    People that do not have sugar addictions just do not understand the extremely difficult struggle with food that those of us who have that issue have. It is so easy for them to tell you how to eat and what to eat and that a little isn’t going to kill you. I see food and sugar addiction as an addiction. No different than an alcoholic is with alcohol. Cindy, you have to do what is best for you so that you know I don’t feel good mentally but physically. Please do not let people pressure you into what you should do. Whatever works for you stick to it.

    You have to respect the past self that dealt with Andrew. Do not beat yourself up over what you did. Being a person who believes in a person who did you wrong is not on you. In order to become completed, we have to fully accept the past versions of ourselves. You did nothing wrong. People are mirrors. Those who judge you have issues within themselves that cause them to lash out at you.

    I also don't know how I lived past high school honestly. The comment about it being human nature is very true. I guess it's just the curiosity of "I wanna see what's next no matter how fucking awful it's gonna get".
    The only real way to live through traumatic events is to constantly work on your thoughts, and it's not the same path for everyone either, but you gotta just remember that a) your thoughts help you cope and survive, your world can't always be sunshine and rainbows, sometimes coping isn't pretty or nice and there's no shame in that
    b) your thoughts shape your reality. But they do that ALONGSIDE OTHER PEOPLE'S THOUGHTS. You need to adapt. Create a sort of "mental shield" appropriate for the events you are going through. And then as soon as you get out of a situation you're in start working on throwing these defensive mindsets away, if it's possible (sometimes ptsd happens and well, you still need some habits to survive)
    I'm no psychologist, I am just simply a broken man myself who still lives thanks to what I did and how I did it.

    One thing about your diet that might work for you - and I’m not concern trolling, I’m a survivor of an eating disorder and have a child with ARFID so I’m pretty well read about nutrition but not a professional dietician or anything - if you can tolerate the idea of only eating vegetables that grow above the ground, and also exclude grains (which includes the corn /maize family) that might be tolerable for you mentally as well as beneficial physically. Roots and tubers tend to be the ones highest in carbs. I have to tell you, my heart sang when I saw you make that guac with tomatoes and lime juice, because a serve of that a couple of times a week will have enough vitamin C (I really think you need to revisit your thoughts about scurvy, you’ve been misinformed if you have been told you can get that from the animal foods you were eating. Your bruising is more likely from low VitC than VitK, because K is fat soluable so you can get it from meat, C is water soluble and destroyed by heat

    Thank you for your honesty. You are so strong and it is amazing how you had grown in the last few months.
    You can be proud of yourself that you did not return to your toxic relationchip again. I was in a toxic relationchip for about four years when I was still in university. My Ex had narcisstic tendencies and because of this my low self esteem went even lower. After I had the strenght to move forward and end the relationship it gave me a lot of room to improve on my self and my self esteem.
    By the way: Short after the breakup I was casually dating a guy, because I wanted to see if there were any nice men out there. I was not even interested in a new relationship. When I first dated this guy I thought he was not interested in me, because I had never dated such a good looking guy before 😂. Now we are together for seven years and married for three years.

    That third (?) question (series of questions) was ridiculous lol! "Are you cleaning your apartment for him?" Everybody cleans when someone is coming over! It's the nice, polite thing to do! As for appearance and dietary changes due to him, I feel like this is par for the course. Speaking more on the appearance side here, of course you would want to look nice for him and wear nice clothes while you're on a date. People don't exist in a vacuum; we exist alongside other people, so it's only obvious we edit or modify our behavior when we're around others.
    Everybody villainizes even the slightest change in appearance or demeanor when you have a new romantic interest, but those "changes" are not negative in any sense just because you're "changing" an aspect of yourself in the first place. As I said, we exist alongside others in the world. Why would you NOT change into a dress for a date? Sure, when we're alone might only wear pajamas, but let's not pretend like other people don't exist and that it's not nice to look your best in front of others. I don't see how "changing" or wearing makeup on a date versus none when you have a day in at home is negative. Not that you wear pajamas all day and never wear makeup outside of dates lol but I figured I would compare some common behaviors of others here in their more extreme sense.
    It's only natural you want to look your best for a new romantic interest. It's only NATURAL you would want to take his opinion into consideration and his actions towards you (i.e. eating the salad he made you). And of course it's only natural you would clean for him when you would have otherwise not done a deep dive on the apartment that day.
    Anybody who tries to scare you out of this relationship by convincing you that you are repeating old patterns clearly do not understand that we are social creatures, so of course we "change" aspects of ourself in front of others versus when we're alone. This hyper individualistic attitude is getting old. Not everything exists independently of you, and neither do behaviors.

    Cindy everything you said - you are speaking to me on some deep level. Maybe it’s because I’m so raw. Because I came last Saturday night after being gone one hour with my fiancé and my kitten was dead on the floor- leaving his bonded brother. I’m off work and I am mind reading

    I don't think these people know what a lolcow is. I think they're more into spilling tea and drama which isn't the same thing. Think Chris-chan vs Creepshow Art. It'll never not be weird to me how people keep trying to die on that hill. Either way, I'm super glad to see the progress. These are the sort of changes that will stick.

    • @MistressElf
      @MistressElf ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's also kind of bizarre how excited they are to lump her in with those people.

    • @SDjilliaRE
      @SDjilliaRE ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MistressElf Yeah. I've said it a lot but I'm pretty sure they just got bored with the lull in content from other youtubers that are lolcows and needed someone to compare themselves to and be better than, so they encountered Cindy at the perfect time. It's easy to shit all over someone hitting rock bottom and struggling with a toxic relationship, but not so easy when that same person shows that they're learning and improving.

    • @PerStepheri
      @PerStepheri ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tbh didn’t know what lolcow meant till I looked it up. But you are right, they seem more interested in spilling and getting tea. And are probably really bored.

    Hey I am a little behind and I'm just now watching your livestream from this week. Just wanted to say if your looking for more games to play on stream try geoguesser. Its a guessing game where you have to figure out where you are in the world from a picture. Also jack box party games are really fun to play with other people as well. They have a lot of different options for games to play and anyone can join as long as they have a phone. 🙂 Just wanted to share some for you because I really enjoy watching the livestream replays after you do them. 😃

    I just wanted to add when you say what helped you get thru such a difficult time.. is also social media. It's not all bad. It's easy to forget that. But i do think your subscribers sitting thru so many live streams with you kept you company and helped you not to feel so alone, also it's cathartic to vent and talk about your problems. Just wanted to point that out.. hope you don't stop being so vulnerable It's what made so many drawn to your channel and also we need more vulnerability in this world so we all don't feel so alone!
