Since, you've done this language and Asturian, then perhaps you should do Leonese. Leonese is a currently endangered language and is believed to be at threat of extinction in just one generation's time if nothing is done to help it, so by making a video on it would properly raise awareness for Leonese and its fight for survival.
Please make a video about the 'Vai' language spoken in parts of Liberia and Sierra Leone. This language has its own unique writing system which is one of the very few writing systems of Africa which did not originate from the Arabic or Latin writing system.I didn’t find any video of this language in this channel. I would be very glad to know what this language sounds like!
Can you please maka a video about these languages? Iberic Peninsula: Cantabrian Leonese Barranquenho Valencian(Catalan dialect) Aranese(Occitan dialect) Central America and southeastern México: Q'anjob'al Mam Tzotzil Yucatec Maya Tseltal
It's really interesting to see languages like this and the characteristics they share with languages like Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. It also makes you wonder how different a dialect has to be to be considered a different language. Puerto Rican Spanish is pretty different from the dialects spoken in Mexico or Spain and has some similarities with Italian and Portuguese. How much more different would it have to be to be considered a unique language?
Hahaha what a mix! As a citizen from Badajoz I feel this dialect very far away from my city and province. We actually speak Castillian Spanish, with a peculiar accent, but Spanish at the end of the day.
First of all, I don't want to be impolite neither attack your amazing work, but several things are "concerning" regarding this video: This sounds as Castuo, a Castilian/Spanish variety spoken in central and eastern Extremadura, not Extremeñu which is an Asturleonese variety. To me at least it sounds quite standard Castilian with a few Asturleonese loanwords. You might be more precise with what's "in Extremadura". Extremadura (in it's CURRENT shape) its an administrative divission 40 years old. It's home to 3 different languages, neither of which its native or spoken in all the modern Extremadura administration. Those languages are, several varieties of Galician-Portuguese, Extremeñu (Asturleonese) and Castuo (Extremadura Spanish/Castilian). So to summarize, it looks like you had a confusion between Extremeñu and Castuo (both very valiable linguistic varieties - as any other - but from different languages), and the language of Extremadura is misleading as in Extremadura are spoken at least 5 varieties of 3 different languages (Fala GP, Olivença Portuguese GP, Extremeñu AL, Castuo SP, Standard Castilian SP). So u may be interested in a more clear delimitation on the area in which the language is spoken.
Does this language have any Tartessian substrate influences? It doesn't resemble any Romance language I've ever heard of, although it does have an accent that sounds a bit like French.
It resembles Spanish quite a lot. Although, this is better to see in writing than in pronunciation, but, still, it is very similar to Spanish and some consider it to a transitional variety in-between Spanish and Leonese
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Just Spanish/Castilian from a region that produces nothing and lives off other iberian peoples, while hating them. Now since they speak plain Spanish with a few ancient traits they're trying to push the idea that it's a language, trying to ridicule the real minoritized languages inside the Spanish state. Shame on them.
Extremadura, means just frontier or border, in fact it is the border between Spain and Portugal. In Portugal there is another estremadura, in this case it is the region around Lisbon because it is the furthest landmass of Europe. It comes from the word extremo that just means extreme in English.

I wonder if Caribbean and South American Spanish dialects’ tendency to reduce “s” to an “h” came from influence from this language.
Can you please maka a video about these languages?

This sounds like Asturian being spoken by a Venezuelan.

No. Every single word in the video has a spanish cognate.
Its a dialect from astur-leonese, as mirandes.

Tiene algunas palabras parecidas al costeño colombiano. Como güeno, velaqui y brasiel por brasier, nombres como Carlin Fermin.

The language name, alone, is intriguing. Sounds like one from a fantasy novel

Ahora todo dialecto del castellano se va a convertir en una lengua, claro que sí 💀
Ara tot és una llengua? Quina vergonya 😂 Això és castellà pur
So I guess the Spanish people who say Catalan is a dialect of Spanish are justified then ?
I speak Spanish and I understood what you wrote, do you speak a Spanish dialect?
