Why didn't Disney just partner with Nintendo and just show the Nintendo E3 direct with the Splatoon 2 Tournament and Smash Tournament, as well as the Treehouse Gameplay Sessions? It honestly makes a lot of sense to just show Nintendo's.
If Disney wanted to air programs aimed at teens, and up, they should've created their own version of 'Adult Swim', but not be just like 'Adult Swim' entirely. It could be a little more classy, and air Marvel movies, 'Star Wars' movies, or stuff like 'Roger Rabbit'.

I love how they cut away from _MY HERO ACADEMIA_ of all things, one of the more kid friendly action Manga currently on the market (yes there's stuff intended for older audiences, but for the most part it's nowhere near as extreme as some other Shonen), purely because Uraraka was gonna stab All Might (a guy who's practically indestructible I might add) with some floating rocks.
Re'Nell Glover I've only watched the first season so far, but the worst I saw was some blood and that space suit guy getting his back blown up. For the most part it's far more tame compared to some shonen out there (it being a superhero story probably being the reason why)

To be honest I'm just shocked they air anything except reruns anymore. All their original cartoons leaving puts the totally radical dude XD out in the cold. I'm still holding out hope for it to be replaced with a channel that airs 80s, 90s, and early-2000s Disney Channel or Toon Disney stuff (or just Disney stuff aimed at adults in general), but now that cable TV is dying that's probably never happening.
I remember Amazon using that same song and similar concept (except they would actually open the boxes and pull out a bunch of clothes) in their own commercials last year playing every single time. Walmart literally ripped off another company's commercial. We've hit a new low.

I think Disney did not know about how violent, or "romantic" the video game trailers were going to be. It is kind of stupid, to avoid showing it to them, D|XP, first, in a secret place, office, or something like that. First and foremost, without the rude cuts to commercial or something else entirely. Do these people live in the Atari age or something? Have these people been living in a cave for decades on end? Seriously. I guess nobody has been playing violent/sexual video games lately. Adults made this show, not young adults who KNOW what a current video game is to a few consoles back. Here is an idea: Make the edited parts of the videos, of the game trailers, that would work out for everyone, in the end, of course working with E3, they will show at E3, when D|XP is covering it with IGN. at least a director's cut! That plan, would work. instead of being rude and cutting the trailer short. Honestly, it saves time and effort and less rude time to 0. anyone agree? Seriously, it would save time and effort, if it was for G for General Audiences aka everyone.
Fun Fact: Disney has actually made/released R-rated movies before they bought Fox. Touchstone, one of their subsidiaries, released Pretty Woman in 1990 and that movie is rated R and they used to own Miramax (known for releasing various Tarantino and Kevin Smith movies) back in the 2000s.

If Disney used restrictions on E3 the big companies (EA, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft, & others) will probably make there own independent conference. I mean Blizzard have Blizzcon and EA aired its conference before E3. But that's if you have the mindset of Disney airing the event again on children channels. At best Disney will be heavily liberal on E3 and air it on more adult oriented channels (Fox). At worst, many gaming companies will abandon E3 and either make there own versions.

I actually remember watching Nintendo's E3 on Disney XD and it went perfectly fine. The only thing that was censored was like 10 seconds of audio from the Three Houses trailer, and that's really about it. Quite surprised how much of a trainwreck the other presentations were.
Despite the fact that this entire thing was a dumpster fire, I've got to give Disney props for apparently being fine with showing two same sex people kissing.

Even for me, the violence in TLOU was shocking, not because of all the blood and gore, but because the characters act and fight like real people trying to survive. The guy grasping for his life with the knife in his throath, the woman that just dies with a bullet in the head, and the last guy still fighting with the arrows wounds. To be honest I'm just shocked they air anything except reruns anymore. All their original cartoons leaving puts the totally radical dude XD out in the cold. Maybe they're just stretching for content so that they can kill XD or change its name and identity? The entire channel just reeks of executives being dated and out-of-touch, and I think Disney knows this.
I'm still holding out hope for it to be replaced with a channel that airs 80s, 90s, and early-2000s Disney Channel or Toon Disney stuff (or just Disney stuff aimed at adults in general), but now that cable TV is dying that's probably never happening.

If Disney used restrictions on E3 the big companies (EA, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft, & others) will probably make there own independent conference. I mean Blizzard have Blizzcon and EA aired its conference before E3. But that's if you have the mindset of Disney airing the event again on children channels. At best Disney will be heavily liberal on E3 and air it on more adult oriented channels (Fox). At worst, many gaming companies will abandon E3 and either make there own versions.

I actually remember watching Nintendo's E3 on Disney XD and it went perfectly fine. The only thing that was censored was like 10 seconds of audio from the Three Houses trailer, and that's really about it. Quite surprised how much of a trainwreck the other presentations were.

G4 was never good
Even for me, the violence in TLOU was shocking, not because of all the blood and gore, but because the characters act and fight like real people trying to survive. The guy grasping for his life with the knife in his throath, the woman that just dies with a bullet in the head, and the last guy still fighting with the arrows wounds.
But yeah, with all the people covering the E3, amateurs and professionals, watching this kind of events in TV is pointless.
