    TROPIC THUNDER Movie Description:
While shooting a war film, the director attempts to liven up proceedings by dropping the principle actors into the middle of a real jungle, claiming he is going to capture their performance with hidden cameras. The hapless group including drug-addled comedy star Jeff Portnoy and po-faced method man Kirk Lazarus are completely unaware when a series of unfortunate events leads them into the middle of a real war zone.
Tropic Thunder is a 2008 action comedy film directed by Ben Stiller. It stars Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Jay Baruchel, and Brandon T. Jackson as a group of prima donna actors making a Vietnam War film. When their frustrated director (played by Steve Coogan) drops them in the middle of a jungle, they are forced to rely on their acting skills to survive the real action and danger. It is a parody of many famous war movies, specifically those based on the Vietnam War. The screenplay was written by Justin Theroux, Stiller, and Etan Cohen from a story by Stiller and Theroux. The film was produced by Stuart Cornfeld, Stiller, and Eric McLeod for Red Hour Productions and DreamWorks Pictures as an international co-production between the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Stiller's idea for the film originated while playing a minor role in Empire of the Sun, and he later enlisted Theroux and Cohen to help complete the script. After the film was green-lit in 2006, filming took place in 2007 on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i over thirteen weeks and was later deemed the largest film production in the island's history. The film had an extensive marketing promotion, including faux websites for the three main characters and their fictional films, airing a fictional television special, and selling the energy drink advertised in the film, "Booty Sweat".
The film received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the film's characters, story, faux trailers, and the performances of Stiller, Downey, Black and Tom Cruise. The film's soundtrack and score debuted on August 5, 2008, before the film's theatrical release. Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks released the film in the US on August 13, 2008. In its North American opening weekend, the film earned $26 million and retained the number one position for the first three weekends of release. Downey was nominated for an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award, with both him and Cruise receiving nominations for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor - Motion Picture. The film grossed more than $188 million worldwide before its release on home video on November 18, 2008.

Back to the Future has a lot of reactions, so that might be a good choice as far as growing your channel. Star Wars seems to bring in a lot of people as well.
If you like more absurd humor, I'll recommend Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail, the Naked Gun movies, and Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. (Don't worry about Evil Dead 1, its a straight horror and ED2 is part remake/reboot).
Otherwise 12 Monkeys is a great movie that I don't think too many reactors has gotten around to yet if you are trying to jump ahead of the curve.

@@cheeseburger12 I Actually Appreciate This Comment Very Much I Was Just Looking At The List To See What Movie I Want To Do Next After Spider-Man 2, 1982 The Thing, And Mandy. I’m Going To Shutter Island And Next Will Be 12 Monkeys. I Definitely Want To Do Star Wars, But Star Wars Is So Popular With Movie Reactions Idk If I Could Get Seen. Same With Back To The Future, I Already Did Back To The Future 1 And I’m Still At 600 Views Pretty Much. So I’m Most Definitely Going To Do Movies Either No One Has Done Or Has Barely Done That’s On My List.
      Those Would Be,
      12 Monkeys
      Shutter Island
      Fight Club
But OMG Thank You So Much For Those Recommendations! I Think Monty Python Is Perfect, Just Did The Research And Seems Like It’s Popular But Not Many People Has Done It. So Most Definitely Thank You And Naked Gun Is A Great One As Well.
Here Are Some Extra Ones I’m Thinking About Doing That Not Many People Have Done:
      2001 A Space Odyssey
      The King Of Comedy
      A Clockwork Orange
      Vertigo

Blackface is what goes on in minstrel shows. IE: It hasn't gone on for a long time. It is not the same thing as an actor putting make up on for a role. Blackface specifically was done by people to make fun of the stupidity of black people. Big HUGE difference. Blackface is a specific thing, not a general thing. It applies specific to that kind of performance art.
Alan Rickman was British, not German. Would you have someone else play Hans Gruber in Die Hard even though Rickman was brilliant?
What RDJ did is called.... Acting. People gain weight, lose weight, put in contacts, change their hair. It's acting. Jennette Goldstein who played Vasquez in Aliens looks nothing like a traditional Hispanic woman, but she changed her hair, wore contacts, different make up, and poof, suddenly she was latina. Great performance. Wouldn't change the actress.

All the characters in the movie are the amped up versions of the real stereotypes in Hollywood.
    - Tugg Speedmen; The action movie guy with a ton of really successful, yet stupid movies who doesn't do any of his own stunts and is not very good at actual dramatic acting.
    - Jeff Portnay; The coke head stand-up comedian with a bunch of low brow fart comedy movies with redicous makeup.
    - Kirk Lazarus; Hollywood's most pretentious oscar winning actor, so pretentious he doesn't even understand what "blackface" means, also refuses to drop character.
    - Alpha Chino; The poser DJ/Rapper that's not very good, sold out to every ad company imaginable, and is the complete opposite of his public persona in real life.
    - Kevin Sandusky: Child star's first endeavor into real film and is just kind of an awkward dork that never had the chance to develop social skills.
    - Damien Cockburn: Director that doesn't know what he's doing and is overwhelmed by the pressures of the set.
    - Four Leaf; Guy who wrote a "true story" full of bullshit but got a movie deal anyway.
    - Les Grossman; This character was basically a characture of Harvey Weinstein... but somehow less gross.
Even Cody; The shady, unqualified yet cheap demolition guy that has a worrisome disregard for safety and will probably get someone killed.
Everyone who works in Hollywood knows one or more of these people in some fashion in real life, hence the brilliance of some of the writing =P

Yes; a sense of perspective/personal experience can make individual jokes so much more funny for people. I was a passenger in an accident years ago and took a shot to the head, but beforehand growing up I literally scored as high as they could measure on placement tests in school. There's a court case I cited showing that I lost enough to qualify as disabled for retarded cognitive function (even though I still actually score in the top 2%,) so all the stuff Ben Stiller is talking about ~16 minutes into the reaction are SO much funnier (as "that which doesn't kill me gives me unhealthy coping mechanisms and a dark sense of humor that could make a platoon of Marines throw up.") But I can guarantee that 98% of people would barely chuckle at best while I'm holding back tears. The "10 second Tom" scene in 50 First Dates is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen in my entire life as my real name is Tom too but to most people it's just a little laugh (plus it's more like 30 seconds IRL.)

The shoot em up of Ben Stiller was a parody of a scene in Platoon. Lol! There's a lot of comedic references to some classic movies!

The key to blackface working in this was definitely that it's completely used to punch up at actors who are up their own ass, not punch down at black people, and is called out in the movie itself. I remember folks making a way bigger deal out of the frequent use of the word "retarded" at the time.

This movie is one of the best movies ever made. As a veteran the one thing i found hilarious was Ben Stillers weapon. A M4 Carbine, which wasnt even made for combat in Vietnam lol. M4s began circulating in branches of the military like late 2010 lol. To me it was funny lol

"How did he loose his finger driving?" I lol'd
'Driving miss Daisy' is a famous movie. Morgan Freeman. Go. Watch.
He meant that he lost his finger filming that movie. Just as absurd as loosing it driving though.

The year this came out, they all did a bunch of skits for the MTV movie awards. You can find those on youtube. The longer promo they did for the show is pretty funny.

Omg Yes I Love The MTV Movie Awards In The Early And Mid 2000’s Those Skits Were Hilarious. Now A-days The Skits Are Cringey. Omg You Just Gave Me An Idea To Try To React To All Those, My Favorite Was The Ben Stiller Tom Cruze Skit 🤣😆☠️
