@@JohnPauls i believe you can unplug that marquee too. Pretty bad idea as that glare is just terrible. If you like Taito pack 1 you'll like pack 2. Atgames has its National Owners Day sale going right now. Check it out. I ordered the arcade control deck for the ALP at 50% off.
Got mine in day before yesterday and pretty sure it is the coolest thing I’ve ever bought lol. Picked up the control deck and all the other packs during NOD. I will say that atgames is super slow about shipping. I ordered the control deck Saturday, it is Thursday and still not shipping notification. I’m trying to decide whether to try and dull the marquee, unplug it or just mod the back glass with a 19” 1080 monitor I have laying around here. Anyway, enjoy it!!!
I ordered the control deck during NOD as well. I believe they were preorders as they didn’t have enough inventory to supply. We should be getting notifications when they ship. Glad you are enjoying your ALP!
The only problem I have with this table is the tiny little backglass monitor. I'd have to mod it out with a much larger display to be able to see the scores, as I'm legally blind. The playfield is definitely an attractant at 32". Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊 I appreciate the feedback. Yes, they provide download codes in an email when you purchase the ALP, downloaded to ALP when setting up. The stock Gottlieb tables are pretty bad on their own, the ALP wouldn’t provide any value with those as the only shipped tables. Hope that answers your question. 🫶🏼
@@JohnPauls my pleasure 😃 Oh, so you only get the codes/e-mail if you purchase the ALP directly from them? I just ordered it but from a store here in Denmark. Yeah, that's also what I've heard - that most of them are bad. So I will probably get some packs pretty quick 😄
Some retail versions include the codes in the instruction manual bag. Hopefully yours came with most of the zaccaria codes. If not, they can be purchased on the ALP.
Man the 1Up LOOK soooooo much nicer! Also the games on 1Up are much better! 1Up seems the way to go with gameplay etc but everyone says to get the AG HD! I have zero modding knowledge and no pc to hook up! Would you still recommend AG HD over 1Up if that’s the case?? Thanks :)
Hey! It certainly does from a cabinet visual perspective, however graphically the AG HD will win playing the same tables - with a PC. Being that you have zero modding knowledge, the A1UP would certainly be much more user friendly for you baring some of its deficiencies, it’s still a great machine. I still own mine.
@@JohnPauls Thanks for the reply! Yeah I’m looking to get a table in a couple of months! Spent so much time researching both that I change my mind daily one what one to get haha! Great video btw thanks for the advice! :)
You’re most welcome. You’re doing your due diligence, get what works best for you. They are both great machines, entry into the Virtual Pinball Table world. I hope you get to enjoy your table soon.
Looks awesome dude, great detailed video. Are you still enjoying this table? I am about to pull the trigger myself and researching what to expect. You mentioned the front of the table being slightly lower to the ground than A1UP's. Can you tell me how many inches the front end is off the ground so I can get an idea? Lastly, if I can buy only one Taito pack and only one Zaccaria pack, which ones would you recommend? Thanks!
Thank you!!!! It can be raised to close to A1U height or pretty close. I’d highly recommend all the Zaccaria packs and the first Taito. You’ll enjoy those tables before you get the itch to start adding a PC for FX3 & VPX
Honest opinion, yes. It comes with more tables, better resolution and better haptic feedback, glass top instead of lexan and a lot more tables, capabilities to add more tables. The A1U wins with licensing, the tables are interactive and are more fun for kids with interactive characters playing across the table. The new Zaccaria 5 tables, downloadable for $49.99 - 10 tables closely resemble the Zen tables. I’ll be posting a comparison video between the two today.
Put paper or cardboard behind the back box logo to eliminate glare. This machine is beyond awesome. Just downloaded the 2nd Taito pack yesterday.
Thank you, going to place a tinted laminate to tone it down a lot lol. It sure is!!! How is it?

@@JohnPauls Well, that’s fine. But they should at least be up front that they were pre orders. Their customer service is inexcusable

Thank you for watching. Yes, it’s a bit small. You can also use an iPad and a program called spacedesk. Play on!!!
0:12 AtGames didn't make a Marvel Pinball. That would be Arcade 1Up. You did get it right in the rest of the video though :)
Thank you, I noticed that error after uploading and said oh well lol. 😂
Nice review! 😃 Were the Zaccaria packs included for free download? I didn't really get that part 😊

If I only have room for 1 should I get this over the 1up?

Trash tables
True but VPX can’t be beat on other tables for the price point.
