    See now those are the cables that came to mind when i first saw someone setup a PC to this thing and the wires stuck out half a foot lol. Great idea! Looks so much cleaner!

      It’s just a vinyl wrap I bought on Amazon to hide the horrible job I did with drilling the hole for the button.

    When you installed PinballEmporium are all the tables included or do you have to install the separately?

    Nice overall setup. Thanks for sharing. Watching some of the game play, I can see that you need more horespower and this will be a lot more fun for you. Things go in this order in terms of least to most horsepower needed in my experience - FX3, Future Pinball, then Visual Pinball (VPX). I had originally figured to only use the first two, but then the community making these seems moslty focused on VPX and the "best" games all seem to be on there. LIke you, I started out with a spare parts/used parts build. A gen 2 Core i7 (yours is better) and a GTX 980. All in all, though, it was just not that great of an experience for VPX tables. My "main" PC is a Core i5-4690 and a GTX 1080. Everything runs smooth on that, so I am upgrading my Pinball PC to match at least that. Just some food for thought as I watched your videos and saw how laggy some of the screens were. I think $150 for a used GTX 1080 would make a big difference in your setup and you would like it a lot more.

    Get a set of hole drill bits for clean holes in wood.. a set is $15 at harbor freight or amazon.
    Also are the speakers/amp only activated on pc otg play? And the stock tables still only play off original speakers?
    What was the hdmi splitter used for? I have one of those exact ones

    • @Upscaled_HT
      @Upscaled_HT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the tip on the drill bits. The extra speakers and amp are only for pc otg play. The stock tables play on the original speakers. The hdmi splitter is so I can run the hdmi signal out of the video card to both the table and the hdmi to optical/headphone jack converter. This allows me to use the amp and speakers simultaneously with the table speakers with no sound delay. So the table speakers handle the highs and mids from the sound and the extra speakers bring in a lot more low end.

    How much $ did you put into the PC/accessory part?

    • @Upscaled_HT
      @Upscaled_HT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not much because I already had all the parts. If it had to be built new, the expensive part is GPU. A 3050 or even a 1660 super would probably be good options.

    what i would do if your computer is inside your pinball machine i would take that OTG button thing take it apart and put it inside your pinball machine so you don't see them wires and take some black vinyl wrap to cover the hole on that back plate where OTG and HDMI,USB ports was . there is a video how to do this

    i have a ROG MARS 760 with dual 760 GPU chip and i feel like it under power i want to get a 1660. like Future Pinball and Visual Pinball most tables work fine where i have the problem is with PinUP videos . i didn't think a 970 would be enough power to run PinUP videos. and you should add a 3rd monitor on top your backglass that what i did but my video cant handle 3 monitors in games play that why i need a new video card like a 1660 or 1070

    • @Upscaled_HT
      @Upscaled_HT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Even the 970 struggles with a handful of games. I haven’t tested every game. Even the slower ones are still pretty playable.

    Stupidest idea in the WORLD (and any pro will tell you i'm right): Putting the HDMI on the "TOP" of the table when it belongs in the back or bottom where it can't be damaged by pets or kids. I ordered the VIBS and they sent it to me with a bad ribbon cable. It was like PULLING TEETH to get these guys to send a replacement and, when they finally sent it, it was for a newer model. The Legends Ultimate guys are a bunch of a-holes and i even had one of their guys (on the phone) grudgingly admitting it. LOL.
