- 2020 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz BS6 Alpha is here! Maruti Suzuki updated the Ciaz with BS6 petrol engine, and that's the only engine option you get with 2020 Ciaz BS6. No 2020 Ciaz Diesel BS6 on offer. Maruti Suzuki discontinued all the diesel engines in BS6 transition and that too includes in-house developed 1.5L 4 Cylinder Diesel engine! That engine was very good and not even lasts for a year! Very bad product lifecycle management by Maruti Suzuki. Well, this New 2020 Ciaz BS6 Alpha is the second top model Ciaz BS6 and sits below the 2020 Maruti Ciaz Sport ( • 2020 Maruti Suzuki Cia... ) Click on the link if you haven't watched the video of New Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S Sports. Though New Ciaz Alpha BS6 is 2nd top model, it is loaded with all the features as it was the top model before introduction of Ciaz S 2020. Exterior of 2020 Ciaz BS6 Alpha gets all LED headlamps with LED DRLs and LED foglamps. Premium chrome garnish also present of the grille and around the foglamps. ORVMs get turn indicators. Wheels are 16" diamond cut alloys which looks attractive. Windowline also gets chrome garnish. Rear of the New Ciaz BS6 Alpha gets split LED tail lamps. Rear view camera and rear parking sensors are also present. 2020 Maruti Ciaz Alpha BS6 interior gets black beige dual tone interior theme. Premium looking faux wooden garnish on the dashboard also enhances the feel of the cabin. Big 7" SmartPlay studio touchscreen infotainment system takes the center stage and MirrorLink is also present. No AppleCarPlay and Android Auto present. Sad. Automatic AC is present with rear AC vents. Instrument cluster is all analogue with 4.2" colour MID. Steering gets audio controls and cruise control. Rear seat passengers gets adjustable headrests, center armrest with cup holders and rear power outlet. Rear windshield also gets sun blinds. 2020 Ciaz BS6 Sunroof is still not a option. Ciaz BS6 MT and AT are the two transmission options available. 2020 Maruti Ciaz BS6 Alpha variant continues to rival the Hyundai Verna BS6 facelift, Honda City BS6, Toyota Yaris BS6, Skoda Rapid BS6 and VW Vento BS6. SMART hybrid is nothing but auto start/stop system which saves fuel in traffic. It has nothing do with electric motor and stuff like that😂

Cruise control is very good feature through which we can set speed limit at highway/long route. We can adjust limit though buttons without using ABC and when we use ABC than speed control comes to you as per your requirement/situation.

I am already user of ciaz RS bt anytime feel it is having no updated features as Hyundai provide. No doubt it's quite spacious but still feel less updated and safe....

Now I am against Hyundai. I was going to plan to buy Verna and Creta. But my Creta Verna buying idea got wrong. Instead we should go for XUV300. It's more safest car than these shit Verna and Ciaz.
Bcz XUV300 gets more features. Dual AC. Electric Sunroof. Verna isn't have electric Sunroof. And bcz of this XUV300 is the safest car of India than these Shit Verna and Ciaz.
Mileage of Petrol is alot than Verna. But Ciaz then it is less. And in Verna Diesel it's less. But I prefer XUV300. As this is Indian Product
Only thing I see lagging is interior design and engine optimization. Cmon Maruti , Ciaz is your premium sedan it's ok if you are pricing it a bit high but add some plush features.
Plus points :
1. Affordable than honda and Hyundai
2. Very good for Indian roads with better ground clearance than Verna or City
3. Spacious back seat and good bootspace.
4. Above average performance in transmission and overall good drive though gets boring.
Negative
1. As I said interior design ..
2. Engine power could have been better optimised.
3. Technical features .. many features seem outdated.
1 more negetive which is this car doesn't give competition in sales figures. This car can't give competition as it only sells 2000-3000 units and in August 2020 it has sold 1223 only and New City and Verna are very much ahead of this 8.3 lakh sedan. Hyundai sold Verna's 2015 units last month's and City 2299 units
