- Gazania Is A Very Beautiful Flowering Plants Which Can Be Grown Through Seeds And Saplings. Gazania Flowers Comes In Many Different Colors, Shapes And Sizes. Flowers Not Only Adds Beauty In The Garden But Also Attracts Bees And Butterflies. Gazania Flowering Plants Can Be Grown With Other Winter Flowering Plants.
How To Grow Gazania From Seeds:-
1. Buy Good Quality Hybrid Gazania Seeds For Good Flowering And Different Colors Petals Online Or You Can Buy Saplings And Make Your Own Hybrid ( Cross Pollinate Two Different Gazania Plants For It's Seeds).
2. For Seeds Sowing You Can Use One Part Cocopeat, Half Part Sand, Half Part Vermi Compost, Tea Spoon Fungicide Powder. Mix All Well. Seive And Sun Dry Mix Before Use.
3. Pot Size You Can Use Six Inch Or More. You Can Also Use Seedling Trays. Pot Should Have Drainage Holes In It And Cover Drainage Holes With Broken Pieces Of Clay Pots So Excess Water Can Drains Out But Not The Soil Mix. No Need To Cover Holes If Holes Are Small. Seedling Trays Have Small Holes.
4. Fill Pot Or Tray With Mix. Do Not Fill Full Pot With Mix. Keep Some Gap On Top For Watering And Seeds Sowing.
5. Moist Mix With Water And When Water Drains Out Keep Seeds On Mix. Keep One Or Two Inch Distance Between Each Seeds.
6. Cover Seeds Lightly With Same Mix. Again Give Water And Keep Pot In Full Sunlight.
7. Keep Mix Moist Everytime But Not Too Wet.
8. Seeds Will Germinate Within Seven To Fourteen Day's.
9. When Seedlings Have Four Five True Leaves You Can Transplant Them. Use At Least Eight Inch Size Pot. You Can Use Plastic Or Clay Pots. Make Sure Pot Have Drainage Holes And Cover Drainage Holes With Broken Pieces Of Clay Pots. You Can Transplant Four Five Seedlings In Big Pots. Keep Three Four Inch Distance Between Each Saplings.
10. For Transplantation Use One Part Soil, Half Part Sand, Half Part Vermi Compost, Half Part Cocopeat, One Handful Neem Khal, Tea Spoon Bone Meal. Mix All Well.
11. Don't Fill Full Pot With Mix. Keep One Or Two Inch Gap On Top So Plants Can Get Proper Water. Take Out Seedling From Pots Carefully With Tools Without Damaging The Roots. Plant Seedling In Center Of The Pot. Give Water Until Water Drains Out From Pot.
12. After Transplantation Keep Pot In Shade For One Or Two Day's If Sunlight Is Harsh. If Sunlight Is Normal Keep Pot In Full Sun.
13. Keep Soil Moist Everytime.
14. Fertilize Plants With Mustard Liquid Fertilizer Or Vermi Compost Or Fully Decomposed Cow Dung Every 15 Day's.
15. To Prepare Mustard Liquid Fertilizer Add 250 Grams Mustard Powder In 10 Liter Water. Stir And Mix Well. Keep This Mix For 24 Hours In Shade. After 24 Hours You Can Add One Cup Liquid Fertilizer In One Pot. Fertilizer Should Be Thin, Transperant Not Thick. Add More Water If Needed.
16. Check Pest Attacks Daily. Some Needs To Remove Manually And Some Required Pesticides. Add 5 ml Neem Oil In One Liter Water And Spray On Plants To Avoid Pest Attack. Spray Once In Months Or When Required. If Your Plants Don't Have Any Signs Of Pest Attack Then No Need To Use Pesticides.
17. Remove Fade Flowers For More Blooms And Good Growth Of Plants.
18. You Can Keep Plants On Seeds When Season Is About To End. ie. April In India.
19. You Can Try To Save Plants In Summer And Rainy Season So Your Gazania Plants Can Survive Till Next Winter. To Save Gazania Plants Save Them From Harsh Sun And Rain. Keep In A Area When They Receive Sunlight But Not Harsh Sun And Rain.
20. You Can Plant Your Gazania With Other Winter Flowering Plants Like Petunia, Calendula, Ice Plants, Dianthus, Nasturtium Etc.

Safe from rain at yearly stage. If they are big and soil is well drained then they will grow fine in little rain

Oct Nov main seeds lagaye jaate hain..aur April Tak flowering karte hain. Agar sukhe flowers hata diye jaaye aur summer main harsh sun aur rainy season main rain se bachaye to next season tak podha survive ho sakta hain.
Abhi seeds lagaoge to kaafi late ho jayega. Saplings mil jayegi aap unhe laga sakte ho

Gazania seeds needs cold temperature. Plant when temperature goes below 25 degree Celsius. At that time you can keep them in open sunlight.

They are seasonal flowering plants which needs to plant every winter. Just brought one yesterday. I have limited space so planted more veggies this year and less flowering plants 😊
