I do get much faster speeds (over 700Mb/s download speed) with telecel fibre here in Kumasi, and its very consistent and reliable rain or shine. As said though, the monthly subscription is higher and the data is limited. I might have to try starlink when it officially launches in Ghana.

I get over 900mbs download speeds when I run my tests with telecel fiber and my uploads, are over 700mbs so I am kinda under motivated with these starlink speeds I'm seeing in Gh. It depends on your area. If you live in an area where there is 4G fibre, your internet will be super fast. Some parts of Tema have the 4G fibre, and the Internet speed is on another level.

The latency on speed test websites are not indicative of the latency you would get in game.... The latency you get on the speedtest website is the latency between your phone and that websites nearest server... Your real latency will depend on where the matchmaking server for the game you a are playing is in... For most games the matchmaking server africans connect to is in europe so you would have higher latency... 80 ms+.. For FC 24 its in Nigeria so you can have latency ranging from 10ms to 40ms... It has nothing to do with the speed test website

Still local ISPs can negotiate with starlink to do merger using their cell tower reach everywhere. In Indonesia that's how they want to do it because not everyone can afford this huge price.

I’m so fed up with MTN & Telecel with their slow speeds and terrible reliability. It’s clear they take their subscribers for granted. Despite readily paying for their increasingly costly service it seems their speed and reliability are getting worse. Counting the days till Starlink is available so I can put an end to their terrible service.
