I am so glad I found you. I've wanted to try resin and now I have found the motivation. I'm a frog collector. My ancestors came from France and Canada and for some reason they call us frogs.
I use syringes from the farm feed store for adding resin to small areas. I don't use a needle, just the barrel is enough. It's easy to draw it into the syringe and goes only where I put it. You can time it too so that you can use it when it's more fluid or thickening, as you want. You make the loveliest things! Great video!
This frog turned out so much better than I expected (I try not to look at the thumbnail photo so I get a surprise). The shine of the gold was stunning and I loved the glittery sections. I am very excited to see it with different colours!

He turned out so great! That glitter is beautiful. I think dusting him and adding the Mehron to the resin was the perfect way to do it. I love the smooth gold finish that dusting gave him and having the solid gold backing against the glitter really makes the glitter stand out. I imagine pouring your puffy heart mold with glitter and adding a solid shimmering backing like this, would be really beautiful too. I don’t have either of the frog molds but, I do have a few Koi Fish molds that I want to try this technique with. Thanks for the inspiration and another fun video!
I know right and Amazon likes to use the biggest box that they can, I think 😂 I can’t hide a box big enough for a toaster when all I need is a coffee mug box 🤣
LOL! Agreed! We were cleaning out the garage yesterday and my husand kept complaing saying we had too much stuff. (Last year we combined our sons' apartment and our stuff in this new house.) As we were outside, Amazon came down the street and went past our house. Hubby said "I'm surprised they didn't stop here. Are they lost." 🤣 Next thing I see is the Amazon truck coming back by and parking in front of my neighbor. Whew-! Dodged that o.... shoot!! She came walking back to me with a big box I couldn't hide! 🤣🤣🤣 hubby just rolled his eyes and laughed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 busted!!!
I know you think we were sneaking contraband😂 maybe in some houses Amazon boxes, that no doubt, contains resin supplies of some kind🤷🏻♀️ it’s guilt free shopping at it’s best 😂
