There are many examples of f u n n y s o n g s in the history of rock n roll. And the are many songs - funny and sad - a b o u t having fun. But there is few to listen to a band a c t u a l l y h a v i n g fun - as much as Dylan and the Hawks turning into The Band in the basement of Big Pink. Thank you, Counting Crows, for this refreshing interpretation of this masterpiece and this brilliant and i n c e n t i v e performance.
I remember trying to make out the words (way back when Internet wasn’t a thing) and wondering just what the words were, because I couldn’t believe my ears! And I couldn’t even say “that’s just a mumble, cause it was sung by Baez 😅 Dylan always loved obscure verses but this one didn’t even sound like an allegory. And still, it adds more of the quirkiness that make a sweet theme positively fun.
What are you talking about? It's still beautiful and it's a wonderful tribute to our king BD. And I honestly don't see how a frat party would play a song like this.
Oh, this is great. Like a party on stage and we all got invited. Great rendition of a great song!
This is so damn good, I can't stop listening!
This video deserves far more views and likes
Excellent tribute to Sir Bob Dylan

2:13 -- Is that the Professor of Rock on the left?
👍👍👍
I wanna be Bob Dylan!
There's a reason this exhuberant song has been covered so insanely much-it's wonderful. My least favorite version is Dylan's own.
Same! Dylans version seems somehow a lil slow, Noel Gallagher has done an exemplary cover of this song 🎵try that!
Adam is slowly turning into Jerry.
At 0:38, Matt Stafford, in the middle, joins in.
love Adam's "this makes no sense" comment!! (& just exactly HOW Dylan regarded as perhaps BEST SONGWRITER OF ALL TIME???) FUN, nevertheless...

Tasteful cover
Pay attention, sweety. We go where we want. The devil isn't welcome🌹😘
Mr Jones wants to be someone just a bit more funky.
Took an unbelievably beautiful song and turned it into background music for a frat party. Also, beware of 25+ year-old men wearing "KISS" t-shirts.

this version sucks
Everybody loves Bob!!
