Looked at this to try and get some inspiration especially on how I can get my ideas out on paper and what has stopped me was the very strict way of writing scripts but now that I see I don't have to be so strict about writing out my stories I can simply do them and be free. Was a good watch.

Thanks for sharing this! I am currently writing a puppet script and I can't believe I didn't use the notepad more. I usually have a mind full of these little things but only write down so much on the paper. That results in gaps. So, I am going to use the notepad a lot more, I am sure this will help a lot in organizing the conversations and the development of the story.

    How to write a script:
    1. Create a character named Shinji. He has no character, but he loves coffee
    2. Have Shinji look disinterested
    3. Have Shinji not have sex with every other character
    4. Have Shinji drink coffee
    5. Enjoy 30 years of success!

      3. Yrrraaaaaaaaaaugh!
      4. YAAAAAAAAGHGHAAHH!!!!!!
      5. Create Super Saiyans
      6. Success

      Draw with Jazza
You forgot a few steps. These comes between others, so I won't number them.
*. Have the characters not die for some reason once Saiyan race is discovered
*. Create "Heaven", a super-secret, super-effective training ground that you can only get to if you die without dying
*. Put all popular characters in "Heaven"
*. Have the most popular character break out of "Heaven"
*. Don't have the most popular character do anything for half the series but travel from point A to point B
*. Create loads of merchandize and then sell the concept to a movie production company well known for destroying your work
*. Laugh all the way to the bank

I think this is very helpful! and this might sound a bit obvious really, but a script can come in handy for all kinds of projects, you can even use it for animation or short films that don't include any dialogue whatsoever but you rather use strong visuals to transmit an idea to the viewers. I for example got into the habit of writing little post its when i get an idea, and then making a script out of it just to practice; and since I want to become a storyboard artist in the future, this video helps me tons!. Thanks for this Jazza.

The cool thing about story writing is it can be about anything and still be considered good.
    Literally anything.
My evidence is this: "Waiting for Godot"
It is considered a greater literary work by scholars, and is sometimes used it teaching literature in both high school and college classes.
And it's, literally, a play about NOTHING.

Deeviant Well then, your evidence doesn't hold. You said literature could be considered good when it's about *anything* but your supporting text was about *nothing*. XD

He does know what he is talking about. I also write scripts. Keep a book of ideas and jot them down. My comedy was turned down by the BBC in favour of Boy meets girl. What a load of crap.

How to *NOT* write a script:
    *How to write a script:*
*1. Create a character named Shinji. He has no character, but he loves coffee*
    *2. Have Shinji look disinterested*
*3. Have Shinji not have sex with every other character*
    *4. Have Shinji drink coffee*
*5. Enjoy 30 years of success!*

Hey there Jazza. I've been trying my luck writing stories for a while now, but I've kind of lost my way and ended up writing AFF as it's called. Got any tips or tricks on how to get back on track?
