Zambia so far is the best example of democratic practices in Africa. Where is my country Tanzania to emulate this good tradition. CCM must get to rest despite I belong to it.

It is, although it has come at a price to us economically, most of the parties that take over, invest most of their time going after political opponents and trying to oppress the previous regime, forgetting us the Citizens that elected them into office. One of the reasons your country Tanzania 🇹🇿 has being making progress is because of your consistency as a country, putting the opposition in power does not guarantee economic development.

Mathews in as much as it's the norm in a lot of African countries his promised NOT to interfere or go about witch hunting but allowed the law enforcement agencies to do thorough investigations, persecute and return all that was stolen. A one party breds a moribund system and no space for innovation and competition.

Zambia's elections were rigged in advance by PF regime.
But disgruntled electorates voted massively to oust the PF regime. This made rigging impossible in favour of Lungu/PF.

The election was anything but free and fair and the conduct of the Electoral Commission leaves much to be desired. It was the Zambian people, we went all out and did everything in our power to ensure that our preferred candidate was successful. We didn't vote and go home to sleep, we stayed and protected our vote. We didn't leave the voter tabulation to the commission we made absolutely sure that every polling result announced was verified. That's the only way to win an election in Africa my brothers and sisters. Peace!

So true, Zambians held the electoral commission accountable like you have stated.
Those chaps from the commission should be fired.
Africans, the power is in your vote and protecting it.

That is the process every election takes.
Give credit where credit is due. ECZ did not go the path of rigging. It wasn't because the voters were "watching" rheir vote.

@@dominionclearingforwarding2826 which proces exactly? Barring the opposition from campaigning, divisive tribal politics, using police to brutalize the opposition and their supporters, attempting to shutdown polling stations while voters wait in masses, announcing unverified results, etc. Is that the process you're referring to?

@@dominionclearingforwarding2826, they tried to rig, but failed. Those that voted for HH deserve a pat on the back for protecting their votes from being stolen by the outgoing dictator.

He cannot turn round the economy without borrowing or raising taxes. He can improve investment environment to get businesses to grow but his trickiest problem is how to quickly address youth unemployment. It is a constant present problem in many African countries. It is in my country Tanzania.
