Ingredients
Pie crust
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup cold butter
1/2 cup cold shortening ( can be replaced with all butter use 1 cup butter in that case)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chilled water
For filling
8 - 9 Apples ( peel and slice)
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar lightly packed
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1/2 teaspoon all spice powder
Optional 4 tablespoons caramel sauce
1 egg for egg wash
Tablespoon of sugar for top
