Subscribed. I appreciate and respect it when someone has a desire to do something and gets after it every day. I have a love for street photography too. I think you have some natural talent just keep at it with that passion and learning, studying and practicing with help you exceed even your natural talent and unlock your unlimited potential. For me personally i wouldn’t vlog and shoot street photography at the same time. For street you need focus and to be present otherwise you’ll end up with overdone boring photos that nobody wants to see because they don’t draw any interest or tell a story. Don’t do what’s been done to death or cliché. The sooner that’s done the photos start to be elevated and unique. Shooting buildings is cool but unless there’s a subject matter or a unique perspective than you might as well be a real estate photographer. I wouldn’t shoot homeless people unless you’re doing work or a project specifically addressing the issue otherwise it’s cheap, anybody can take that kind of shot, and it exploits the person and their circumstances. In my opinion and from what’s been taught to me it’s kind of a no no and it’s easy to understand why. You wouldn’t want your picture taken if you were in their shoes and it’s pretty unethical if it’s not some sort of journalism which in itself can be invasive at times but most professionals and great photographers have a degree of ethics and that’s why their images have impact and leave an impression. It takes a lot of wherewithal and thoughtfulness to go there and you want to get familiar as possible with cultivating and experience being in that zone where you think less about the camera and more about the subject and message you’re trying to convey. Same thing with street musicians and shooting slow shutter speed traffic lights through a hole in a fence. This is all stuff I’ve been taught, observed, studied and practiced that actually made me better and improved my photos which in turn lit a fire 🔥 to be passionate about what it is we’ve come to love and of course the recognition is a nice bonus. Im only taking the time to say these things because I love seeing great photos that are works of art coming from people who express themselves through their work and I think you’re more than capable of doing just that. Just don’t quit and be another person selling their gear on offerup because they didn’t get a million likes the first week on their instagram. Don’t just take pictures make pictures with your heart and mind. The gear is just metal plastic and microchips and glass. But the photo is all you and your voice. Looking forward to seeing what’s next. God bless
