I have several FL compressors and NI compressors. I'm messing with all of them. I have to boost the gain for the compressor to even engage. Am I missing something? The FL Limiter/compressor I can lower the ceiling.

Be sure to play with the threshold too. Its totally fine to boost gain into a compressor though, thats exactly how an 1176 works :)
