I remember just a few months back when Ryu debuted his Tengenstu, which just happened to have tomoe (or magatama, I'm not too sure which one) incorporated, people in the Naruto community came and called it a rip-off of the Sharingan despite the fact that the design isn't one Kishimoto invented and that they look very different from each other.
All shounen character have something the same but peaple think is it always copy of his favorite anime (3students + teacher in team, have a big dream when you are piece of sh*t for people) that way he love shounen

I would add on to the argument that at best, if they were to fight, it would be a spar amongst brothers. The reason these two are actually really great characters to begin with is the fact that they are rivals that respect each other and push each other to be better

@Btd-Marc Obviously, Black Clover has drawn inspiration from Naruto just like a lot of newer manga and Black Clover also drew a lot of inspiration from Bleach as well, a piece of work can draw inspiration from works from before and be different enough that drawing comparisons like that doesn't really work whilst being similar enough to see the comparison

Yami doesn't scale to the Dante fight in SOTWK.
Yami didn't have Iai Slash, or black moon. But my biggest contention is that Yami progressively got stronger throughout the Dante fight so you can't say he scales to 80% Dante in the movie.

Who ever thinks black clover is a copy of naruto. Well your wrong. Atleast our “Sakura” and “Hinata” copies are useful. Mimosa(Sakura “copy”) actually is better at healing than Sakura. She be running away while healing someone she can also make a giant cage. Noelle is so much more relevant than Hinata. Noelle is almost in every episode. Her character development is so much better than Hinata. Also her character development involves her getting strong not frickin confessing her feelings to her crush.
Noelle is currently one of the best females in anime

The only way they can compete with each other is against others. I don't think Asta would want to have a final or really "first" fight with Yuno. After working so hard to become wizard king someday, and seeing Yuno grow strong but also get promoted, Asta wouldn't want to win in an unfair match. Life was unfair to me in not giving him magic, so I don't think he'd want to win in a cheap way where Yunos magic is cancelled out.
For as much as Asta sees Yuno as a rival and wants to become wizard king, I don't think this fight is possible. Because of the power Asta has.
Maybe it will be more of a concluded situation where Asta is the equivalent of what Sasuke became. A shadow kage but shadow king.

I don't think he would shy away from that. There are a lot of obvious and direct inspirations. But he usually just keeps the heart of the tropes, and while i love Naruto too, it often did the tropes without understanding the reason behind them, esp in the end. Yuno standing his ground is in character, and it's mu h more believable in this story for the kingdom to recognize Asta. Also, if you're in the series this long, you can't seriously hate it for copying and improving Naruto, can you? Bc that's what's really happening. Asta is much more reasonable and understanding than Naruto, and i have to say it is a harder worker. Yuno is less annoying and more respectful than sauske. The team is larger and actually works together the entire series rather than only building up Naruto and briefly building up side characters. I'd mention some story points, but they are spoilers. The kurama thing in mo is done much better, the setup is better, the action is better the war arc has way more clues without being obvious and makes sense, but the only reason i can say this is because it absolutely copied naruto and made all of these improvements. It's absolutely like he saw all of the fan complaints and went bet. I can fix that. Ok, maybe not all of them, but at least the Sakura copy is useful, grows, and contributes. She's still abusive, but for some reason, it doesn't piss off most people, even me, and i don't know why. Denying the obvious isn't gonna make the hate die it just makes you look gullible. And then people get pissed off later, like what happened in the war arc. Im not sure why that pissed everyone off when it was obviously going in that direction and makes much more sense. Esp bc it was just the team & not the whole world, so the relationship was there. Pls don't get mad when that fight happens.
