Simply awesome! I’ve been captivated by live steam since my childhood long, long ago. I really admire those guy’s dedication and skill to bring it all to life. Thanks for sharing.
I've known Joel for years like Joe, but have lost touch. Trying to get him to come by some time. I watch his fun videos and it's great to get an outside update. QV lives on and on. Woot!
Years ago Hart Park in Bakersfield had a miniature railroad around a pond with a water wheel. It was probably bigger in size then Quail Valley. Bill formally from Bakersfield
Nice railroad and train. I am surprised he is using coal in that area as most live steam operations in that kind of western and dry terrain use oil or propane to fire with to cut down on the possibility of grass fires.

Very cool!
Glad you had the opportunity to visit Quail Valley. I’ve followed his work on FB . Looking forward to a more in-depth video! Thanks

I’ve know Joel for 25 years, heard all about his railroad, but I have not made the trip up. Guess it’s time to give him a call.
Good guy, good stuff. We've been on the 7 1⁄2 in gauge steam locomotive at Skykomish station, Washington. Cheers, Mark
Thanks, Mark. You always post fun stuff to watch.
Awesome gut and minuture rr

He is able to convert back and forth between coal and propane .
I’ll trade a rail cart ride up the carrizo gorge rail road for a ride on that
Ok, then by process of elimination, it’s NOT in Phoenix, AZ. Ha! So there!
