Awesome Gerlof, super to see these 2 multi WR holders throw in the same comp. I am going to throw the hammer again next year (I turn 60 and throw a 5 kg, look out!!) so I am watching everything by Yuriy and reading everything by Anatoli. I was facinated by Anatoli not chasing huge strength levels with Yuriy as he himself had a 330 kg squat and big rival Walter Schmidt (the WR Holder in this comp) had 350 kg! I really think he became influenced by the first man over 80 m Boris Zaichuk whom I remember reading 30 years ago (I wish I knew where) that Boris focused everything in his training on rotational strength & balance. This was a crazy comp with first 5 guys either Ex, Current or future WR Holders, that's a tough field!
