Raptor, the roller in the front is to help the vehicles cross ditches, because the front of the halftrack is so long, it would hit ditches, so the roller would prevent the front from getting damaged.

These are the kind of maps i love, ones with lots of natural and man made defensive terrain, emplacements, and fortifications.
One of my favourite things in this game is the sound of the tanks idling. It sounds similar to an old Alco RSD-4 train engine! Also, if I were involved in this war, I would take a break and drive my tank to that lovely oasis! The enemies should learn patience. I would relax in the sun with a Martini! Now that is what I call war! How romantic!
Early war is my favorite era of the war. I like the light tanks and tankettes.

ACTUALLY RAPTOR the 174th Elf division was pivotal to the defeat of the 99th SS Bridge Troll division in the battle of 4chanburg circa 1944. Also, o7. Hero units would be cool as well, lol.
I know this video is 4 years old, but keep in mind Raptor that the Tiger 1’s HEAT only has 80mm of pen, don’t use it against heavily armored vehicles.

o7. I feel that the Pacific war is the most interesting and brutal of the the theaters. Though the Eastern front can give it a run for its money.
Aidan Otero there were more Soldiers killed in 2 months of fighting on the Eastern front then all of the Pacific theatre, I'm an American Vet (1st Cav) the was no fighting in the history of warfare more brutal then the fighting on the Eastern Front

Rob could add Simo Hayha for Finland. He one shots Soviets through any cover from any distance on the map with his sniper but has a longer reload and aim due to his iron sights and bolt action rifle.

The barrel in the front is a tow cable I believe. It's used to pull the truck, car etc. out of, say a ditch.
I personally always liked the later wat European theater, was where some of the most interesting stuff happened and where all my favourite vehicles were used

O7, the Pacific is my favorite, my grandfather was a corpsman at Saipan, and Okinawa, and briefly worked in a medical tent at Iwo Jima.

Charles Hazlitt Upham is probably New Zealand's most famous soldier. He became one of only three people ever to win the Victoria Cross twice for his actions in Crete in 1941 and Egypt in 1942. He is the only person to have achieved this as a combat soldier. Probably should have got a third VC as well
I'm a little late to the game with my idea for a US Hero character Audie Murphy with a MG42 for the European theater and John Basilone with a .30 Cal for the Pacific theater. BTW I am going back through all of the MOW videos and liking them for you to beat Sally youtube PD and their stupid algorithm. Keep up the outstanding vids Raptor!

you go brief history for you. My grandad fought at Dunkirk, Italy. My second
granddad flew Spitfires and Landcasters Bombers and train air units to fly such
planes. I have all his war medals.

alamein world war 2 went back and forth between the Germans and British forces.
The water wells were full of oil each side blame each other but the fact was
the oil wells in the area were leaking into the water. Two of the British
commander in charge was sack by Churchill and the country needed some good news
from the front after Dunkirk. Monty (Montgomery) took over full command and
trained his troops to high standard. He went with mine clearance teams to clear
the lines and had a great defensive due to the sea and the impassable sands to
the right. He open up with artillery as his troops went forth although nearly
wiping them all out it was that close. The Germans could not get supplies in to
the port thanks to a navy blockage. Monty was also given much better tanks and
later become known as the desert rats. The Uk took el alamein when Ronald was
taken ill and later had to retreat from his location. This was the first push
out of the desert for the British command and from then he was hounded by
airplanes as the Germans left. Is that okay
