Nice he played this one for the second time on this tour. Nicely adds some rougher, garage-kind-of rock sound to the large variety of styles the E Street Band showcases on the current tour - from the 1973 jazzy elements to their 2019 Letter to You signature rock sound.
As a guitarist myself, if you haven't been rehearsing certain songs too much and you're playing in other keys than you normally would play, you can lose your place when it comes to putting your fingers on the right frets. It happens sometimes. And yes, as Leif said, he hasn't played this song in a while besides Baltimore a few nights earlier. Lucky Town is not a regular song in Bruce's shows either. Its quite the rarity to get, which I've been lucky to hear once in eight shows I've seen of Bruce's.
@@MusicMasterTasmania Very good listening and understanding on your part. I felt Bruce got lost somewhere in there and thought the drummer was laying down the time frantically Bruce might haven't ended his solo properly. and ran in to another unexpected repeat or something. I could see Steve trying to figure out where he was. No big deal.
On the european tour it was played once in Ghotenburg and Bruce, at the last second, asked Steve to play the guitar solo, but he was unprepared and it came out a disaster, worse than this!

best lead ever for that song!! thanks Steven
The tour seems to be really picking up speed. Good mood, great songs, awesome shows.
It had 'speed' when it opened in Tampa.
...just sayin'.
Was at the Denver show. The band sounds better than ever.
This song is a lost gem
Was at the show in Jersey last night and he pulled it from the set list. I was really excited to hear it.
Ohh what's happened here? Love this song but something is way off in the solo
Bruce is improvising, and it's probably a while since he last played the song (save for the Baltimore tour debut).

what's the purpose of having Jake in the back and not the other horns?
Jake provided that extra tamborine that the song needed!
