+Ma Zano yeah because back from 1960's and before all american narrators/actors tried to sound the same with the made up accent the Transatlantic accent
In the 50's Hollywood created a popular accent called the Mid/Trans Atlantic Accent to appeal more to the public and create a universal actor/announcer accent tone, the accent was even taught in private schools,!unfortunately it has died off over time almost as if it had vanished, it's a shame I really love the accent it's beautiful
I wonder if it’s made for color sets and the recording we are seeing is just the black and white version. I could see it being a “ooo look at this fancy new thing we can do” kinda ad flex.
I love old commercials, vintage commercials, Kool-Aid commercials, Kellogg's and Post cereals commercials from 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Then were better then new commercials. :)
back then you saw a commercial and was like "HOLY SHIT, thats amazing, im going to go out and buy it right now!!!, now if you see a commercial your like, "god damn it, not another verizon commercial"
You would think that with all the cars that have failed recently and all of the recalls on vehicles that have killed people, car manufacturers would go back to making quality cars, in the United States, made with steel. It's sad that cars last only a few years at best.
It would be awesome if they went back to rolled steel, but the law in the U.S. says the cars must have crumple zones in certain areas, hence the lighter metal they've been using. Not to mention that it's cheaper. I was never quite sure WHY the law requires crumple zones though...
It's feels weird and retro-futuristic to watch these on an iPhone.

there’s something so simplistic about 1940-50 commercials that make them much more appealing than in-your-face advertising nowadays
50s: band aids stick good
2000s: *I'M STUCK ON THE BANDAID BRAND AND THE BANDAID IS STUCK ON ME*
Damn he really held on to that Remington. Also I love the static noise these old adverts have :3333
Hahaha I read your comment right before that part of that commercial
Seeing older commercials like this breaks my heart because of how simple everything was back then. I wish it was still like that.
Hi Nicole , I agree with you , I wish we could all go back in time !! 😊
I just subscribed to your channel !
nah..things were only well for white people🙁
They went throw two world wars and a depression, it was not simple
I love these old commercials. It's so clear how much our culture has changed in a relatively short time.

Wow! That second band aid commercial was pretty psychedelic and trippy for the 50s.
I love old commercials, vintage commercials, Kool-Aid commercials, Kellogg's and Post cereals commercials from 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Then were better then new commercials. :)
What's surprising is that it's pretty high quality ! (and ads feels more realistic than ads we have today eheh)
I couldn't help but picture Homer Simpson singing the song in that Dodge commercial.
Nobody:
Great grandpa: back in my day we boiled eggs with band aids
Commercials were more convincing back then
I love how they have to say what color the bandaids are!

Okay: From a modern standpoint, that Gilette commercial could still hold up. That was a genuinely good ad
these commercials were educational i lil bit.. really pay attention to it.

that's what I like about the old commercial jingles. they were so catchy they would stay with you forever.

I love how "slow motion" is just the person moving their hand very slow.
I laughed out loud at that part hahah
I like how in the first band-aid commercial, it looked like she tried harder to make the band-aid stick than she did with the other bandages :))
i remember some of these from the 60's. life was simple back then.
I love that Pepsodent commercial.

This is the 1950's, not the 1940's, but I enjoyed them just the same. Thank you!
These vintage adverts just fascinate me.
I especially liked how they had to actually say what color the bandages were since the commercial wasn't in color. Kinda makes you think.
I love that Pepsodent Commercial. They should do a reboot, though it may not fly, since that brand is not really in popular demand these days.

Yeah because no airbags and mental dashes wear so safe.
What if they had rolled steel AND airbags? That would be pretty cool, I think.
